This is a pretty good restaurant. The staff was polite and attentiver and the food was good.

ROACHES EVERYWHERE!The restaurant industry is hurting at the moment so a long wait is understandable. However, after waiting for over an hour in a place that was mostly empty, I walked to find out if our order was put in. On the way to the front, I discovered THREE ROACHES on the floor in seperate locations. I showed the manager and she told me that usually when the exterminator comes, the roaches die everywhere and that she would get them swept up for me. The health department needs to conduct an inspection and shut this nasty place down

Ordered on line today 5-23-21 and it was suppose to be ready for pick up by 3:15PM and was not ready until 3:40PM. The Fried Green Tomatoes were not crisp, The Chicken Gizzards were tough and hard, The Baked Potato was hard on one end, Chicken Fried Steak was over cooked and tough, The Pork Chop was dried and tough. The Peach Cobbler looks like it was just thrown in the container and was all over the container and was not very tasty. We have been long time customers and this will be our last visit to PoFolks because of the quality of service and food.

I am visiting family here. I haven't been to a Po Folks since 1991. I'm so glad there is one here. I have to say the fried chicken is absolutely the best I've ever had. I ordered a 16 pc. family meal recently and I couldn't believe what a great deal it was. I woke up at 3 am thinking of their fried chicken. Customer service and atmosphere was excellent.Thank you. Will miss coming here in this great State.

The service was excellent, the food was awesome, and our waitress was very courteous and polite. If your looking for a place that has some good ole country cooking like your grandma used to cook, then I highly recommend PoFolks.

This food had no flavor the turnip greens were not seasoned they just taste like grass... The cornbread taste 3 days old.. The steak I had was okay the onion rings were good had no salt the service was okay the baked beans did not taste good the shrimp taste like they were frozen then fried.. the macaroni and cheese taste like it was powdered cheese no flavor....

My wife and I arrived at around 2:30 for a late lunch. After about an hour we were seated. My wife ordered shrimp & grits with Cole slaw. I ordered chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes & black eyed peas with hush puppies. When our order arrived My wife's meal was missing Cole slaw. There were 2 hush puppies on her plate & 1 on mine. Our server said we would have to wait for more to be cooked.

The manager, Paul, is awesome. He goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome and stays on top of things like a great manager does. Very impressed...he is an asset to the company.
