We got a fried turkey for Christmas. It was absolutely delicious. They had it ready at the agreed upon time. 10 out of 10 recommended!

great food and excellant friendly service. we had the oxtails they were great. the cabbage and collard greens were both the best we ever had. mac n cheese was meh. this is worth a stop and best food we had on vacation. don't let the outside deter you.

Excellent home cooked meals. The cabbage is the best I've ever had. Wish I knew the secret to them.
Was looking for a local place to eat instead of those "chain food" restaurants. Definitely found that here and with the plates and silverware gave it that additional home cooked meal feel. Chicken was a little dry, but other than that, the experience was pretty good. Chicken dumplings were pretty tasty. Staff was quick and ready to help us. Got our food and table quickly, and they kept checking on us to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and the food!
Got the fried gizzards, mac &chz, and butterbeans. Absolutely delicious. Probably the best gizzards I have ever had from a restaurant!

Food was not good. Dressing was dry and had a taste to it,ox tails and rice was NASTY. Mac and cheese didn't really have cheese, just macaroni noodles and they also was unsatisfying. I'm from here and thought I could support them but this is not right. And the fact that on Friday oxtails plates are 15.50, but on Sundays ur supposed to pay reg price. They charged me the Friday price. Instead of just saying I'll charge u 10.50just for today to make it right. Could sue for false advertisement
