If you ever find yourself traveling between New Orleans and Birmingham I highly recommend you stop in Bayou Blue Cajun Bistro and have lunch or dinner. Catfish was perfect fried, cut into strips, batter was light and airy, gumbo was delicious (recommend mixing seafood w/ chicken) and the shrimp and grits were outstanding. The owners were very pleasant to chat with and the service was outstanding. Beignets were hot and fresh! They strived to ensure we left happy and full.

Wow, what a great place for some good old Cajun food. Camping in the area here from Kentucky, retired military so I have eaten all over the world to include stationed in Louisiana for 7 years. The Cajun food was some of the best I have had and the atmosphere inside was great. Did not expect this nice of a place in Eutaw. My hat goes off to the owner and employees, great place, highly recommended if in the area

Wanted to eat here as local friends said it was great..they knew the owner and had told us the mother had retired and passed it down. Our food came out in bits and pieces and I do believe the waitress just forgot half the order .the Caesar salad had no dressing...I was asked if I wanted dressing...it's a Caesar salad...it's named for the dressing..we were one of 2 tables in the restaurant...no music...atmosphere was dead..your a Cajun restaurant play some Louisiana something ..food wasn't bad.. the red beans were very salty...and we had to ask for spoons to eat the gumbo and red beans and rice..but the whole experience was just wrong...maybe mom shouldn't have retired...

Stopped by during a road trip, great little spot for Cajun food! The fried catfish po-boy was top tier (especially with their tartar sauce). The hush puppies were great too.
Also, the restaurant is decorated beautifully; it was clean and had nice restrooms.

Cafe changed ownership and is now known as Bayou Blue Cajun Bistro, but the food is still excellent as it always has been. New owner was super helpful and I look forward to coming here on a regular basis.

I had the catfish platter, shrimp, red beans & rice. All were masterfully seasoned and cooked to perfection. Excellent service from the staff and the chef came out to say hello. Great find in a small town.

Amazing food and amazing art!!! Owner did all the artwork herself. The Onion rings, red beans and rice, and seafood gumbo were to die for! The crawfish poboy, shrimp poboy, and beignets didn’t disappoint either. We will be making this a regular stop on our way to New Orleans!

It was pretty good, but nothing to write home about. Bit pricey for what we got, but that's understandable for a small town restaurant as there's nowhere nearby to get ingredients. Fried catfish was good and the red beans and rice were really nice.

This was a great find!! We were traveling back to Louisiana from a vacation in Tennessee. Missed the larger exits but mostly because we did not want fast food. The food was phenomenal, restaurant is clean and the service was amazing. We had the shrimp and crab dip, fried shrimp po-boy and fried okra. Kids got a burger, fries and Mac n cheese. It is not far off the interstate at all and we will def go back. 10/10!
