On our way to Mississippi we found this cute restaurant with great home cooked food and very friendly staff . Great Hamburger Steak and the most tender fried Pork Chops highly recommend !

Was traveling through AL, stopped off at this jewel. Had the fried pork chop special, literally the best chops I’ve ever had, and the ham hocks and cabbage were also to die for. Beautiful place, can’t recommend enough

Square Roots is back open in its 3rd iteration. This one should last. Great spot to grab a sandwich, burger, or a daily lunch special.

Square Roots Cafe is an awesome, delicious, beautiful restaurant right in the heart of Eutaw. If I didn't live so far away I would be there every week. The food is amazing, the staff is kind, if you find yourself anywhere near town, stop by! I had the fried pork chop and it was amazing!

Very nice lunch just off the path of our road trip. Menu includes wings, burgers, salads, sandwiches, wraps as well as catfish and pork chops. One of our party got the catfish, nicely cooked. Two more hot sandwiches/wraps and another a salad. Everything was fresh and delicious. Service was good. Decor is fabulous. I would definitely go again!

I have eaten here several times since it has been re opened under new management, food is good, but the service could be better! Today I called at least 4 times to place a carry out order, but no answer. So I drove to the restaurant only to be told that I couldn’t place an order, and that I would need to wait 30 ( my lunch break) minutes to do so! I have worked in several restaurants, and I think that the same time and dedication should be given to people placing to go orders as the people dining in, our money spends the same way.
Great food and great atmosphere, the service was even great. I'll be going back the next chance I get

Square Root is back open under new management and this time, they have Magic Mike running the kitchen. Everyone already knows Mike is an awesome chef so you do not have to worry about the food tasting anything but, great. The 2 ladies that I encountered this morning both appeared to have great attitudes and were nice and friendly. The restaurant was clean man’s the decor was fabulous. The price of the food and the portions sizes was a big upgrade from the old square roots where you got a fancy spoonful of unseasoned food. Mike will solve that problem. Would I recommend Square Roots, YES I WOULD.

We were actually disappointed with our experience here after the restaurant was recommended to us, along with reading the many positive reviews. For the price paid for two salmon meals (over $78), we expected much better, as we found the salmon under-cooked and the sides over-cooked and nothing to write home about. We didn't have room for dessert, which most likely would have been great, but were just surprised it wasn't better. The setting is great, and the owner friendly to talk to. Just wish the food had been better and price lower.

Very enjoyable dining. As an English tourist does, I had the fried chicken. Moist, crispy and full of flavour. The iced tea sweetened or unsweetened was perfect. Good value for money and kind service, recommended.
