My first time here, but well worth the drive from Decatur for their all you can eat waffles special. The waffles tasted closer to top-notch, upscale Belgian waffles, delicious! The atmosphere and staff were warm and inviting. And it was relaxing watching the trains tumble by.

The owner is very friendly and helpful. The staff is nice as well. The waffle with peanut butter is delicious! There's a scrumptious variety of flavors for coffee. Last visit I had coffee with a toffee fudge flavoring, which was wonderful.

I've been going to the coffee store in Hartselle the past few years but now that Cross Ties is open I've been going there regularly on Friday. The coffee is much better. Service is excellent, folks are always friendly and the prices are competitive. I'm not a big fan of all the religious music and stuff in there but whatever, they do them. I'll keep going. I always get it to go anyways.

Our favorite coffee place- with a great heart behind it. Everyone who works here is so friendly! It’s a lovely place to sit and read but also easy to run in and grab coffee on the go. We love this place so much we just bought the coffee beans they sell at the shop to use at home. Worth the drive from hartselle, best coffee (and iced lattes) in the area!
