An impromptu trip allowed me and my brother some time to experience some of the history of Fayette. It's a beautiful small town that hasn't been overrun by big box stores and traffic congestion. Plus it allowed us to sample the cuisine at Fannie's -- which I'm glad I selected. Tucked away in an older building, the interior is small, quaint and decorated with works by local artists. You order at the counter, make your drink selection and then take your number to an available table. Service was quick and very cordial. I chose the regular Reuben with chips and a soft drink. The corned beef on marbled rye with sauerkraut and 1000 island was perfect. I guess I wasn't expecting the sandwich to be one of the best I've ever had, but it was. Fresh, hot and so moist -- the flavor was perfect. My brother ordered chicken salad on a croissant with fries (which were air fried). He said both were excellent. Since we live almost two hours away from Fayette, it's probably not some place that I will be frequenting, but I highly recommend Fannie's if you're passing through or if you're a local. When I come to Fayette, it will be my go to place.

I've waited to post a review. Have ordered from them about six or seven times. Would have been more but it seems they sell out some times. That's a good sign. Everything I've gotten has been very good. Being from Miami I just wish the black beans and rice had more beans. It was still very good. The staff are all outstanding very friendly and helpful. I can truly say they earn five stars.
Didn't try any food. Coffee was very good. Asked for a strong cup of coffee and got exactly what I asked for with pleasant service

LOVE eating here. they stay busy (which is a good sign in my eyes) so i always call about 15-20 minutes ahead to order if i have to get my food to go. they are always SO polite and accommodating. i’ve never had a bad meal from them. i am a picky eater and i love them. 10/10 would recommend!
