The restaurant is in what was an actual train depot. There was good service and country cooking.

Ate lunch around 0130 pm and chose the lunch menu special. Worst meal ever. The vegetables had obviously been cooking for at 5-6 hours as they were mush and did not even taste like the vegetable any longer. Complained to the server who made no attempt to rectify the situation and only handed us the bill and said she was sorry. No manager assistance, nothing. Won't be back.

This is the friendly and the best fried chicken I have ever had. The manager was so sweet. The restaurant just closed. She saw that we were from out of town and was looking for a place to have lunch and she opened her doors with open arms and fed us ! Talk about customer service they went above and beyond it Delicious .

We are residents in Florala, and have frequented the Depot a few times over the last year. It seems like it had gotten progressively worse with each visit. Tonight I spent $100 on two meals for takeout, and between my husband and I didn't finish a full meal. I got the seafood platter. The stuffed crab was inedible, it tasted like chemicals and freezer burn. The fries and fish were also inedible. The grease was old, and it made the food taste bad. My husband had the 16 oz ribeye, Medium well. It came out rare- there was blood on the plate. He ordered green beans, they were also freezer burnt. Both of our fries were cold, soggy, and greasy. We ordered the boudin egg rolls, and got no dip. We got no condiments at all. Very disappointed for the price we paid.

Absolutely amazing Sunday meal! With an amazing country fried steak and veggies to top it off with the absolute best peach cobbler I’ve ever had! Our go to Sunday meal!

I love this place. Been here many times. Food is awesome and atmosphere is great. I believe a mistake was made on pricing out my meal since it was unusually higher than it normally is including the military discount, so double check your receipts, but other than that I highly recommend this place.
