The Bier Shack is under new ownership, and they are absolutely knocking it out of the park! It’s so much more than just axe throwing now—it’s a full-on destination. They’ve managed to create a fun, friendly environment that feels welcoming the moment you walk in. The addition of German food and a great German beer selection makes it the perfect spot for a night out, and the wine tastings are a fantastic, 'cool' touch that you wouldn't expect at an axe house. Whether you're there to hit a bullseye or just enjoy the vibe, the energy here is top-notch. Highly recommend checking out what the new team is doing!

Stopped by for the first time yesterday. Good selection of cold beers on tap. Split a pretzel and patty melt with my wife. Loved the food. Be sure to add the buffalo ranch dressing for fry dipping. Patrise was awesome. So was the cook.

We are snowbirding in Foley and decided to give this place a shot. The chicken schnitzel is delicious as well as the pretzel and we are not big eaters, sharing an entree. The chef splits our meals up on different plates (without asking) . It's our go to place to go to now. Great happy our specials. The staff are so friendly as well. Patrice is so helpful and made a great first impression of the place

Wow what a great local find! I can't say enough good things about this spot. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like regulars —even though it was our first visit. Patrise was incredibly knowledgeable about the beers on tap and the food they had available and was happy to offer recommendations. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does.
The atmosphere is a perfect balance between cozy and lively. For those looking for a bit more activity there are axe throwing lanes!
What really sets this place apart, though, is the attention to detail. Glasses never sit empty for long, Patrise checked in without being intrusive, but she was also is a wealth of knowledge on the area sharing things for us to try and do! It’s rare to find service this attentive and authentic.
If you’re looking for a spot with outstanding beer and food and the best service in town, this taproom is it. Highly recommend! 🍻
