By far one of the most disappointing sit down restaurant experiences I've had. Would not recommend wasting your time or money here. Salsa was overly salty and lacked flavor. Food look dried out & old. The serving sizes were small - although I wouldn't have wanted anymore. Honestly I was worried I might leave with food poisoning due to the condition of the restaurant and the presentation of the food. I've had cactus cantina many times in Fairhope and have loved it. I won't be back to either location after this experience.

I came to this location on July 17th for my birthday and I ended up getting the absolute worst food and service that I have ever experienced in my life my appetizer was cold and tough and my server barely came to check in on me so I got a dessert and it was horrible the cereal coating on it tasted stale so I asked for a replacement and was told no I was astonished by the type of service I received so I paid my bill and left I won’t ever come back to this place due to how I was treated

We usually go to the Gulf Shores location (which we love) and decided to stop here as we were in the area. We will not go back. My food was cold, my husband’s order was wrong and they forgot his sides. We were never offered a refill and then the prices charged were higher than what the menu listed. Overall a disappointing experience.

overpriced.$50 for tacos for 2 people at lunch. guacamole was good, food was good, albeit a little bland.
This was not a good experience!!! The waitress seemed to be in a rush. When asking about specials she was short and to the point. She did not suggest anything... not even cheese dip.
Birria Tacos where not good. The cheese was burnt. The tacos were dry and the dipping sauce was not hitting. I had to add salt for flavor. The raw onions were a little overwhelming.
The rice was dry & boring and the grits had so much cheese you could not taste the grits.
I was over charged for my food because they add a credit card price and a cash price. When you add up the price of the food and add 10%, the cash price they had on the ticket was about $2 more.
When I asked the manager, Vladimir, why was I being charged extra he told me it was their new system. I opened my calculator and did the math for him and his response was, just pay what you think you should pay. My response was, I want to pay what I owe. That's fair.
I give the experience a 1 out 10.

We usually sit at the bar since it's the two of us. The food is always good and fast. Drinks are good and cold. The bar service is always friendly and fast. We bring all of our out of town friends here.
