Seems like there is never enough workers but the ones that are there are very knowledgeable and professional. You may have to wait a few extra minutes on food but it's always fresh!

So i gave this place high marks because it is very affordable for seniors. They have a seniors menu and 2 can eat for less than 20 dollars if ordered correctly. The help is above average and helpful. I can't eat this every night but I find it acceptable for the price point a and value. The food is hot too and that is important when eating fried fish.

I used a paper coupon for a discount on a 3-piece fried fish dinner. The quality food was outstanding. Service was fast and friendly. Not many customers eating, so they need to advertise Captain D's as an alternative to high-priced Gulf Coast seafood and send out more coupons in the mail that don't expire too quickly. Sweet tea was empty and should be filled timely.

Manager on 7-22-2026 at 7:30 pm was extremely rude and denied us a refund when they messed our order up. Also used foul language before hanging up on me.

I think this was the first time I ate at a Captain D's in over twenty years. My daughter and husband usually go there. We arrived ten minutes before close, which I hate to do. I was worried about making people angry for getting there so late. We were greeted with such sincere, great service. The food was good, but the service was top-notch. If the price point per meal were $1 less, this could be a regular quick option. Definitely recommend.

First time I've been to a CD's in a long time. Pleasantly surprised dining room was clean, the restroom was clean and the food was very good.
Staff and service were outstanding. Atmosphere is typical fast food vibes. The food was pretty mid...priced high. Probably won't return here. The place is clean though.

Never again...made an order inside was told it would be 5 minutes. After a 12 minute wait was told another 5 minutes because they just dropped more fish. No other orders in lobby waiting...except people waiting to order. Drive thru orders were going out like crazy. They are more concerned with drive through than the lobby! Don't waste your time...go across the street to Culvers and get the service you deserve...the fish is better anyway!

I picked up Thur drive Thur and the potato was rotten. I called and was informed by Manager that see is not allowed to touch food . Well that's fine but is she not allowed to look at the potato and see it rotten
