The Gulf Bowl & Captain's Choice Seafood Restaurant

My friends and I came in later than expected hoping to be able to bowl, we got to bowl for 30 minutes before they closed thanks to Amber and her great customer service!

My son and I met an old friend and kids today at Gulf Bowl. They had never been. My son and I live here. We had the best time and the staff were so helpful and friendly! Most of the time they are but today was noticeably more so!! In fact, I actually got yelled at once because my ball was stuck and no one was around to help so I walked on the alley not knowing better- I know now. But today, my sons ball got stuck and before I could even look for someone, two people were walking up to help us! It was so pleasant to just have friendly staff all around!

Food was good staff friendly

Nice bowling alley. Updated and clean with a friendly staff. Fair prices and decent food at the snack bar. We were from out of town and was a rainy day activity. Highly recommend.

Sarah Jane, the event coordinator goes above and beyond what is expected of her she’s quick to respond to your phone calls and is good at scheduling. She did an amazing job with my son’s birthday and we’re going to come back for more events every year. My pictures are just screenshot it just to show an example of how good she is at taking pictures as well. Again, thank you Sarah for all the hard work you did. It was much appreciated.

Very Disappointed!!I booked the VIP room for my son's birthday 2 weeks in advance. We get there and another party has the whole room. The event planner double booked the room. My son really wanted this room for his 17th birthday. I was very disappointed because it's not the same without the party room. I had to ask for a discount. I would be careful booking a party online.

Over priced. 1 person is 44$ for an hour. And they won't let you pay for single Game. I didn't come with 8 people. Came by myself for one game and still the same price either way. 8 people for that price is reasonable. They should offer other options for people who don't have a bunch of people with them and just want to enjoy themselves.

Good place to burn an evening on a rainy day. Bowling with VIP lanes, billiards, bar/restaurant, axe throwing, arcade. A little pricey, & service isn't perfect. Keep expectations in check & you'll be satisfied.

Employees that are there are friendly. The food is above average for bowling alley.
Hannah is a great cook. She makes great catfish and really anything else you want. I am glad they hired her. She has made a big difference in the quality of the food served. The gumbo is great.Restaurant is clean too, which is important to me.

I waited about 20 or so to order a soda and the another couple was ahead of me. We rang the bell several times and no one came up to help us. I finally went to the front desk to ask what was going on. The young man walked over to find out. He came back to tell me that the female had walked out and he was going to have the manager come take the order. When he finally came over he never once apologized for the inconvenience. He just said what did I want to order. I can’t believe this was the manager that had no customers service skills what so ever. After three games the lane shut down. We had unlimited bowling. My boyfriend asked them to turn it back on and the same manager that took my food order was playing on his phone n never turned it on to play more games. We decided to play the arcade games. Again, no customer service skills with this employee either. This was our 3rd time down to Gulf Shores bowling alley. I really hope we go elsewhere next time!!!!

We just hosted our (Alabama Credit Union) fundraiser celebration at Gulf Bowl. It was amazing!!!! Sarah Jane and her team made this entire event seamless for us. We are so grateful for all you did for us.
