Been hearing so much this place. Excited that it was open. No chicken, so i tried pork stuffed potato. And a piece of cornbread pancake. Was not impressed with the flavor of the BBQ sauce, tastes like ketchup. Maybe i just came at a bad time. I will try again.

So good! Tried it for the first time tonight. Had the pulled pork plate with baked beans. Ordered collard greens too but got green beans. They were so good I didn’t care. Will definitely be back.

Hands down the best barbecue in the south they use pecan wood to smoke their meat. The brisket is the best I’ve ever had. They also have this Cracklin cornbread pancake that’s to die for every time. I’m in that part of town. This is my go to.

Highly recommend the Jalapeño Cornbread Pancake Sandwich! If that's not your speed, get anything with pulled pork. It's smoky, salty, juicy, all things delicious. It's a carry out joint so that's not much atmosphere unless you want to picnic under the metal carport. That has a beachy vibe but the food is totally the star here.

There were 7 of us all women from Illinois and Florida. Seen this place and thought we had made a mistake bit the food was hot and delicious. I'm not a BBQ person but I had the pork sandwich with Mac and cheese and it was very good. The sauce was sweet and not to spicy and was perfect. Everyone loved their meals and if we were closer we would be back. Thanks for 7 great meals!

As someone from Louisiana this is the saddest excuse for southern food I've EVER had. To start things off, they had only been open an hour yet, were out of two of the three sides we wanted. We opted for green beans but what we got were tasteless and sad snow peas?!?! I got a plate of pulled chicken with Mac and collard greens. The meat in the greens tasted old and lacked flavor, basically just green mush. The Mac and cheese was the biggest disappointment just noodles with hard cheese in spots, no amount of pepper was able to save it. My partner got the corn bread sandwich which sounded great but was executed poorly, the only good thing about it was that the brisket was cooked well but the overall dish was dry and flavorless... Surprise.
Also the baked beans are canned bushes beans with some brisket thrown on top. Overall a waste of money (51$) for two people 🫩 Save your money and taste buds. 0/10 would not recommend

Sides were overpriced (4$) , see photos for size reference.

Been going to Deep South BBQ for many years and have always enjoyed the food, however the last two times I went there the food has not been as good. I went today and got a pork plate with baked beans and the beans had a sour taste and I was afraid to eat them hopefully this was a one time thing.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST SMOKED TURKEY WE'VE EVER EATEN!!!

So hubby & I are full-time rvers, we'd just gotten into town & looked for something to eat. This place was 10 min up the road from where we're staying. We came over cuz we always try to support local businesses whenever possible. So we headed on over & upon pulling up noticed everything was neat, clean, and organized so that was a good sign. We went to order and they'd JUST run out of the brisket... the 1 thing we were really looking to get, the guy at the counter was awesome & suggested the smoked turkey. Hubby & I were skeptical bc we've been burned on smoked turkey before BUT not this time. This was amazing! Best smoked turkey nice & tender, perfect smoke flavor... we'll definitely be back to try that brisket now... it should be done in an hr or so... lol
