We have heard good reviews of Hattie's and decided to try it out! It's 100% worth every single penny! The people and the vibes are just so down to earth. Hattie's is the definition of a great soul food restaurant! We will definitely be back!

After going to Hattie’s soul food restaurant yesterday for an event, I am back today for a pickup. The food is amazing! It’s rare to find restaurants from scratch cooking. Equally as impressive is the environment. Hattie’s goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. Karaoke night was a blast. This is definitely one of my favorite places in Foley!

Was looking for a new place to try, and the other reviews of Hattie's Soul Food were spot on! Amazing! Amazing!! Amazing!!!

I had the fried catfish entrée for lunch, and I will return to try more of their dishes because I'm certain everything is good here!

New in town! Nice new building. Great server - Stacy Ann. Every thing we tried was hot, fresh and amazing. All food and baking done in house. Good menu with plenty of choices!

Our server let us sample squash casserole and stuffing (dressing) ?

The place has the best people so kind and good to us. They served the most amazing fried okra I had ever had and the banana pudding was a huge hit with my family. We will be back!!

We are here from Ohio. We found out about Hattie’s by searching Google - “Where do locals eat”. SO glad this place popped up. The staff is AMAZINGLY friendly. Immediately greeted as we walked in by a hostess and one of the cooks. We were fortunate enough to meet the owner, who was so gracious and friendly ! So many wonderful options to choose from ! Wife opted for navy beans and corn bread. Said it was the best she’s had in the last 15 years (since she had her mom’s). I got the Salisbury steak, with mashed potatoes and a side of Mac and cheese and candied yams. Oh my goodness ! All of it was so delicious ! We were hoping to get some of the homemade peach cobbler and ice cream, but just didn’t have the room ! We will definitely be back another day for that. What a wonderful place ! Do yourself a favor and EAT AT HATTIE’S SOUL FOOD ! You’ll be glad you did !

I felt like family here today! This is the only time I think I’ve ever felt and admitted that someone’s cookin is better than mine. Great food, great service, great people! Also incredibly clean, I will come back any and every chance I get!

The hamburger gravy over mashed potatoes is great. The rolls and cornbread dressing were on point. Everything at our table was great. This place is awesome.

My family and I tried Hattie's for the first time yesterday for lunch. It was the first day of their brunch menu. I'm a huge fan of brunch so I was pretty excited my family could order their lunches while I enjoyed my coffee/ brunch! The owner came and welcomed us and told us about his vision and hope for his restaurant. All made from scratch food, I really couldn't wait to try it after he told us about it. He was very kind, very welcoming. The food came and it was better than I expected and then some! One of my kids said it was the VERY best fried okra he'd ever had. My husband said the highlight of his meal was actually the beans, haha - he wished he got 2 sides of them they were so yummy. My kids got creme brulee for dessert and I had a slice of their pineapple lime cake. Overall, it truly was a very unique dining experience compared to other places around here. Heart and soul truly does go into making the food here!! Can't wait to go back!

When you go out to dinner at a would food restaurant you don’t expect boating Kareoke. The food was not hot and the service was non existent because of being too occupied with singing.
