Interesting dining experience! Servers come around periodically offering free fixings to go with your meal, highlighted by their signature throwing of their large hot rolls, good portions and not terribly expensive. Overall great experience, but don't expect to get in without an hour wait!

Love the old homestyle cooking here. My favorite pass around has to be the fried potatoes with onions and the gigantic rolls of course. I've had quite a few things off the menu. Frog legs , meat loaf , country fried steak , chicken pot pie and the fried chicken . All were fantastic!!

A definite must-do when in the Gulf Shores area! The ambiance alone of Lambert's is oh so fun! And our food was delicious. Come hungry because there is ample food with the entrees and the sides that come around multiple times during your eating time.

Today would have been our first visit to Lamberts. Upon arrival we noticed restaurant personnel going to cars that pulled into the.parking lot, telling them something, the cars then left. Since we were waiting for our group to arrive we were not concerned at first. However it became concerning when other patrons who arrived after us, were given information we were not privy to. It was discourteous and disrespectful to be ignored as we were. This was our first and last visit.
This place is always amazing! I’ve never had a bad plate or server in the 10 years I have been going here.
What you need to know:
-It’s almost always busy but the place is HUGE and will sit you pretty quickly. -The environment will have you trying to see everything at once. (Think Cracker Barrel on crack). -You will not leave here hungry. Ever. The portions are huge and they are generous with the “pass-arounds.” -“Pass-arounds” are things like fried potatoes and okra that servers walk around and offer you helpings of…over and over again. They are delicious and filling! -The rolls are amazing. They are huge and fresh. They will throw them to you from across the room. This is a huge hit with the kiddos. They also offer molasses and apple butter to go on top. Both are delicious. -Like most places in the south, you gotta get a huge cup of sweet tea.
A very cool place with great entertainment value. If you don't get your fill here, there's no help for you 😜. The place is very busy, so make a reservation or be prepared to wait a while.

Anytime you can have a rolled thrown at you, it is a great day. Quick and fast service, food was very good. Had a new server today and he did a great job. Would recommend this location to anyone. When we are in the area, we will be back again for sure.
