Local & Company absolutely nails that rare combination of upscale dining and genuine Southern warmth. The atmosphere is gorgeous. Refined but relaxed. Fantastic food and service! The pizza is more like flatbread and it was delicious. We tried both the steak pizza and the Mediterranean. Drinks were on point. We had two desserts which were both amazing. Service was excellent.
This was our first time here. We heard so many great things about the restaurant, but the first impression starts when you walk in the door. The hostess was not very welcoming. She didn't even smile or have a positive greeting.
The waitress was the same way. We got drinks, but we waited at least 10 more minutes to order appetizers. In restaurants like this, we usually are met with specials or recommendations. We got none of that. Drinks were not being topped off....
