I loved it and local spot. Friendly atmosphere with some outdoor seating. Decorated nicely and some great food for the price. Very reasonable, and I enjoyed myself. Food was very dry and not that flavorful. The quesabirria was the only good thing we had. The tamales and carne asada were dry and the veggie fajitas weren’t seasoned well. Don’t think we’d come back.

Very cold, plain, sparse space, w/unprofessional haphazard service. The house margarita has virtually zero tequila & a very cheap, syrupy chemical-lime color + flavor. Nachos Supreme was gross w/very watery-liquid grease, flavorless ground beef + runny, watered down "sour cream", very little off-brand Velveeta style "cheese", day-old unseasoned guacamole & pickled (NOT fresh) jalapenos. There were zero tomatoes, pico, nor onions anywhere on the dreadful plate. To top off the absolutely terrible food, drinks & service the bill arrived w/totally different prices than the listed menu prices ??!! After waiting a full 10 minutes, I was told that the prices on the bill included a "2%" surcharge for using a credit card. Well it was way more than "2%" + I was trying to pay cash. She told me to just subtract "2%" and pay that amount. My calculator determined the new prices were precisely 10.5% higher than those listed on the menu = very dishonest practice. It took her another 19 minutes to finally return w/a bill listing the actual menu prices. I paid, tipping 20% & will NEVER return. Such a shane as I live in the neighborhood & had high hopes. Btw: there is a new, fantastic Mex spot just across the street @ OWA called Cozumel I believe, that has fantastic food, drinks, service, and cheaper prices than this place, El Paso & Vallarta.

Macho Taco is fabulous! We discovered this on our second winter trip to foley. We had tried another Mexican food place and were not at all impressed but this was excellent food. The birria tacos on the specialty menu is a must try. We have been there 4 times total and haven’t found anything average. The margaritas and guacamole are also excellent.The service is very good, it is a friendly , must try ,restaurant!

You will not be disappointed. All the food is fresh. The tortillas both corn and flour are homemade. This place serves the best food since leaving California and Texas. The service is phenomenal as well.

So last Saturday we decided to try this place because of the reviews on here, first off our food was cold and had to be sent back, seems like they just microwaved it and still did not taste very well my wife couldn't eat it. One of the worst places I've been to and will not go back.
