This restaurant is closed and empty. Must be permanently closed. Sorry we didn't get a chance to try it.

Food: 4.5 stars on Yelp, so I decided to try it out. All I can say is - I am mad. Mad because my food was so good, now I won't want to try anything else on the menu! The Tuesday tacos were excellent, probably some of the best I have EVER had (and I'm from San Diego, mind you...)! The cilantro sauce was so good and the tacos were baked so the corn didn't fall apart. I'm afraid I will not get a chance to try anything else on the menu! Atmosphere: it's a cute place, off the beaten path. Bathroom was clean, outdoors and indoors were both quaint and quiet. Had kind of a Greek-esque feel to it. Price: 9$ for tacos and a drink wasn't too bad! It looked like everything on the menu was reasonably priced. 10-15$ for a meal is a pretty good deal in my books. They have a pretty good selection for lunch also. Service: Our waitress was nice and pleasant, no complaints. She seemed attentive to all the patrons and the place was mildly busy. It's only open for lunchtime so you gotta get there quick. Overall: I am coming back to try more of their food and if it is a nice day out, I am eating outside. This place seems like a little unknown gem and I am glad I found it today!

Amazing food, FRESH and cooked with expertise. Seasoning was perfect. Quaint atmosphere with both inside and outside seating. And supporting a local!!!

Wow I'm not sure where to start. The lady who gave 3 stars and the guy who gave one star because he wined about the 30 minute wait. These are the types of people who do not belong in a place like this. They have no value in life. My opinion!!!! I'm from Louisiana. New Orleans. I know good food. This place is amazing. You may have to be patient and wait 30 minutes. But boy is it worth it. You get what you wait for. And pay for. Everything was so freshly cooked. Vegetables and sandwiches dressings were freshly cut. Everything was excellent. This is by far our new place. I don't mind waiting. Because at the end. It was well worth it and money spent. Please ignore the idiot who commented negatively on this business. I will be back.

This is such a great local restaurant..everything is so fresh and the soups are wonderful..Today I had creamy tomato ,i could have licked the bowl..Hubby also loved his chicken and rice soup..Having heard they had the best burgers around we had to try them..and they live up to that..my husband has never had anyone cook his burger correctly until today ..it was so juicy and tasted like meat not bun cause the burger is huge with fresh lettuce and the best tasting tomatoes.. we cant wait to go again and try more things on their menu..And the owners wife is just the sweetest, friendliest gal..

First time at SS&S. Attractive interior. Out of the way building. I had the daily special--grilled seasonal veggies on rice with balsamic reduction. Very good.

Had lunch today it was amazing great job. We will be back. Had a Roast Beef and Cheddar horseradish sandwich and the grilled vegetables were delicious.

I can’t speak highly enough of this amazing gem of a restaurant tucked away in downtown Foley! The food is absolutely to die for and the staff couldn’t be sweeter! The meal I had today (pictured here) was their special, Stuffed Potato topped with Chardonnay cream sauce, parmesan and blackened filet mignon… simply amazing.? I would also like to note, I called ahead to order and when I was picking up my meal, I witnessed the woman working the counter handle a difficult/rude customer with kindness and grace.? Will definitely return and recommend this establishment to all my family and friends!

Sugar, Spice & Soul Café is located in a bit of hidden space in downtown Foley, AL that is set back from the street a good ways. Sugar, Spice & Soul Café is a newer place that opened up in 2019 and has built quite a following from locals and tourists alike. On weekdays Sugar, Spice & Soul Café offers sandwiches, soup, salads, desserts and a daily special. Sugar, Spice & Soul Café has also quickly become a very popular Saturday brunch spot in Foley and wait times can be long when it is crowded so make sure you plan accordingly. This is a small family run restaurant so when it gets crowded (like at Saturday brunch) the wait times for you food can get longer and my group was told it would take about an hour to get our food and that was accurate although it was a pleasant space to wait for brunch. Service was friendly and efficient and even with a full house they managed to keep my iced tea refilled very efficiently. This spot was really interesting and I look forward to sampling for lunch at some point when I'm back in the area. Overall they had a decent selection of brunch items and everything was well prepared and it was a pleasant experience. My video review of Sugar, Spice & Soul Cafe is here:
