The Galley is a restaurant located along the Bon Secour river offering delicious dishes like crawfish etouffee, raw oysters, fried shrimp, hand breaded onion rings, and USDA Prime beef. The staff provide great service. The appetizer trio with Gumbo, Etoufee, and Jambalaya is a standout dish. Visitors feel at home at The Galley, making it a cool place to dine. It's convenient, has good food, and reasonably priced with a fun atmosphere. Chef Matt prefers dishes be scratch made and you can tell. They had amazing hand-crafted margaritas that were not from a jug or a machine. The food was good and lots of choices. The jalapeño popper dip and bayou burger was the absolute best. The Cubano, the Patty Melt, and the kid's 9-inch cheese pizza were also enjoyed. The seafood platter was incredible. The whole restaurant has been nicely remodeled—it feels clean, bright, and welcoming. The vibe is laid-back and family-friendly.
