SUPPORT LOCAL! Just had a lovely experience at this delightful restaurant! My husband and I went for a late lunch/early dinner and it was perfect. His cod sandwich was HUGE and delicious! I had The Galley sandwich (salami, turkey, cheese, ranch on Texas Toast). It, too, was generous and tasty. Fries were crispy. The fried jalapeños addicting. Pricing was very reasonable. We live in Gulf Shores, not far from Galley on the River. This is our "go to" spot. It's convenient, has good food, and reasonably priced with a fun atmosphere. We have taken several friends and family who were visiting and we haven't been disappointed.
My wife and I stopped at this hidden gem not far from the "Main Drag".
We were so happy we did!
The chef (yes, I said chef) prefers dishes be scratch made and you can tell. We had amazing hand-crafted margaritas that were not from a jug or a machine. Guys, this was at lunch. Such a great experience for a price that, I'm told, the locals appreciate.
We will never forget the lunch we had on our 5th anniversary!
