Only had a pulled pork sandwich. If you like a Carolina style mustard sauce you'll love it.Only issue was they were only accepting cash, not sure if this is their norm, or if there was a problem with their card reader.

Used to go here on a regular basis in the mid ‘90s when I was with 3d Rgr Bn. Loved it then, love it now. Glad to see it’s still around. A local gem. Keep it up!

This place deserves another excellent review. Just like the reader before me.. great bbq (chipped or chopped) got 1.5 lbs of both to take to the beach with us. Awesome sauce and first time having buttermilk pie. Don’t judge a book by the cover. Go in and order and meet some very nice folks.

This was my first time coming here.Went during lunchtime. It was cozy. The staff was very friendly and enjoyable. Ordered the chopped barbecue plate. It was good. Will be returning soon.

Doesn't look like much from the outside but this little shack on the side of the highway serves up some of the best BBQ around. Chopped pork, Brunswick stew, buttermilk pie, and unsweet tea were my favorites. Owner's been doing BBQ since he was a little boy and you can tell he takes pride in his food.

I got the chipped que and the Bride got the chopped. She thought the chopped wasn't as good as my chipped. She also thought the potato salad was made there.

This is an awesome BBQ place. Wish we lived closer to it.

Mediocre at best. Got 16oz chop and a turkey sandwich. The chop was flavorless and chewy. The sauce was decent but not enough to cover up the flavorless pork. The turkey was cold and dry. I guess that's on me, I assumed a smoked meat sandwich would be warm and not something that's dried out from sitting in a fridge.

We went on a Thursday at lunch. Ample gravel parking lot. Easy access to porch area for all. We were greeted upon entry and given a quick rundown of the menu and choices. We ordered the Ranger, pulled pork sandwich with chips, easy air pilot (I think that's the name), and a rib plate. Good size portions. Good tasting BBQ. The baked beans were okay. Tasted like out of a can however not bad. The meals were adequate and well priced. Not a bad little spot when you are in the area by Florence Marina or Providence Canyon.
