J.R.'s Steakhouse Fort Mitchell

I decided to use their delivery. To my surprise, they were fast, food was still hot and it tasted great. Think you for one night my husband was not fussing.

The food was delicious. And we will definitely eat there again. Unfortunately it took a really long time and they were out of all of the streak and ribs we wanted to try (except the 32oz porterhouse we split). However it was really late so we ordered the larger porterhouse they had left and split it. The steak wasn't cooked how it was ordered, but we ate it anyway and it still tasted amazing. I know some of the cooks called out so with that they still a good job. I will definitely give it another chance because all the flavor was in the meat as well as the green beans, fried corn on the cob, and the yummy cheese curds! The staff was very friendly and did their best to make all the guests happy during the wait. We'll be back!

We've been going here since they opened and I've ALWAYS got the burger and sweet potato fries which are AWESOME! I FINALLY tried something different; grilled chicken salad and it was just as good! My husband had the steak salad and said it was really tasty; lots of meat in both! Guess I need to try EVERYTHING on the menu!

First visit. Ordered 8 oz filet mignon topped with grilled shrimp. The steak was so tender and not overly seasoned. Even after I reheated it at home (take out order)! Also ordered mashed potatoes with gravy, mac and cheese, Brussels sprouts, and a stir fry medley of zucchini, squash, and onions. The only problem was the loud and apparently drunk guys seated at the bar when I walked in the restaurant. The waitress apologized for their behavior and said she was about the toss them out because of their language. Hopefully they won't be there when we come back.

Drinks are good people are friendly! Food is average I had the cheese steak and the beef fried steak I think it's called on two different occasions they were both good French fries were great though drinks as well!

Great food, friendly staff, and convenient location are just a few of the many reasons we enjoy eating here. If you can catch them on a night they have banana pudding, that's an added bonus!

Worst excuse for a restaurant ever the staff is absolutely unprofessional over aperiod of one year we have tried to eat there 4 times and have not yet had a meal there because the service was so bad The last time we sat there at the table for 40 minutes after they took our order and then another waitress came up and asked us if we are ready to order nobody placed are first order just got up and left

bad customer service!!! I called trying to place an order and I was told that today was there last day and they hardly had anything left and I was hung up on. so when I called back I was placed on hold for 25 minutes until I came in and asked for the owner. the supervisor says she does this to people. I wonder if it's only people who sound like there black? he didn't care or even apologize. he just struggled his shoulders... all of his customers that he was whispering to about me that were strating at me were white. news flash! black people eat Jr's too! not me anymore. I guess bc it is there last day, his racist views can effect who he feels get to eat there the last night. it's my birthday today too .. Trash!

Very good food. Small town and easy going. It's a little off the main road but well worth the visit!

The food was delicious. The server was friendly. The lunch special was great and well priced. I thought the prices were a little high otherwise but I'd definitely go back at lunch.

Cozy little neighborhood steakhouse with great southern comfort food. I got the 8oz strip they had as the special and it was delicious! The staff is super friendly and the service is great. The outdoor area is also really great - they had axe throwing tonight!

Great experience tonight our first time out there Britt was our waitress she was on top of everything.. Great service kept our drinks full food was amazing.. I would recommend it to anyone...
