Just a couple minutes off I-20, I-59 interstate, what a hidden jewel of a tiny restaurant! Mrs J runs the place by herself with country culinary talent and love ❤️! Huge burgers, and oh the delicious catfish and sides. Mac n cheese, collard greens, fried okra, wow everything we tried was great! In this hurry up world go thru a drive thru, but if you want to slow down and appreciate great food and great people then do yourself a favor and stop in at Mrs J's. I wish I could give her 10 🌟!!! 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

There was a sign apologizing in advance for the wait but that they were short on help.
Keeping that in mind, the service was fairly quick (10-15 min. wait for food).
This is not the type of sit-down restaurant where the waitress comes to your table. More of a take-out style where you go to the counter to order your food and wait for your order to get called out. Space is very limited in there. There are about 4 booths that you could sit and eat at but the flies were pretty bad.
We did not like the Catfish bc it had a very fishy taste and it did not sit well with us. The fries were good and well-seasoned. Fried okra and cornbread were tasty. The greens were good but very salty towards the end of eating them.
Meals were ~$15 for 1 entree, 2 sides, and cornbread.
