Half of the equipment do not work. It smells real bad back there. The health department need to come up in there and inspect them ASAP or shut it down the management that sucks. They not taking a leadership they hire people that they do not know how to cook messing folks food up, not tipping the food out The health department need to come in now and shut that place down and if y’all see this is in Fultondale I have photos that I have took and here they

Most of the hospitality staff were sitting around. They were having a small debate on where to put us in the wheelchair because they was told not to seat people in certain areas.

We went bc it was the only place open. We haven't been to this location before but we swore off Applebee's well over a decade ago after giving them several chances to redeem themselves. We didn't have high expectations at all but the server was great, everything came pretty quick, it was all hot AND tasted great. We were pleasantly surprised. And the bill was about 30% less than anywhere else we would have gone to sit down. Only thing I could say needs work is the actual physical restaurant itself. You can tell it's been there awhile and the carpet is yucky looking. Repairs and remodel are definitely needed. But we even said we would go back again soon and it's been almost 20 yrs since we've declared that in reference to this place. All 5 of us ate at around 12$/ea, before tip.

Horrible experience at Applebee's. We walked in and the hostess was lounging on a bench on her phone. She seated us in a part of the restaurants that was extremely dirty (food all over the floor). We ordered drinks. Blender wasn't working so we couldn't get a frozen drink. The Mr. Pibb has more syrup than anything. They were out of multiple things that we wanted on the menu. Our server was attentive and apologetic for the issues. He comped our drinks and we went elsewhere for dinner. Would not return.

It’s hard to beat the Fiesta Lime Chicken—easily one of my all-time favorites at Applebee’s. I like it so much, I had it twice in one day: lunch and dinner. I stopped by this location for lunch, and everything was spot on—great flavor, fresh ingredients, and the service was friendly and efficient. Later that evening, I ended up at the Pelham location and ordered the same thing again. No regrets. Both spots delivered a solid meal, but I’ve got to give a slight edge to this location for nailing the presentation and seasoning just right. If you're a fan of bold flavors with a little zest, the Fiesta Lime Chicken won't disappoint.

The food and service was great! The restaurant needs to be renovated and updated. It's time for this Applebee's at this location to make a comeback and get rejuvenated.

We stopped here to eat after a long drive and checking into a hotel for the night. We've eaten at Applebee's many times over the years. This was by far the worst Applebee's EVER!
Good points first: The atmosphere was nice. Everyone around us was laughing. It was as if there was a group of people who always came and loved it. That's the good part!
Now for the not so good. When we received our food; Sirloin Platter, Chicken Tenders meal and Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad, that's when everything went south.
Each of our meals were overcooked to the point of being inedible. The chicken tenders were dried up pieces of meat. The sirloin was ordered medium rare and was served killed, cooked on hot asphalt and re-grilled again. It would've made fine shoe leather.
Even the chicken on the Caesar salad was so rubbery it might have bounced if thrown.
When we mentioned it while tabbing, and still hungry, the waitress didn't have the manager come over or offer a discount. That was beyond disappointing when you pay almost $100.00 for the worst food ever.
I will say the bartender was really good. I'm a type one diabetic and needed a coke because I had a sudden blood sugar drop. She was on it immediately and checked on me afterwards. She was more attentive than our waitress who kept disappearing for extended periods of time.
So disappointing and such a waste of money. Sometimes, you roll the dice and crap out when you are traveling. :(

please read!! we got there on a Monday night at 8:30!!! no one was hardly there, maybe three tables. I saw a total of 5 waiters/waitress.. plenty to go around! why did it take us 10 minutes to get seen and asked about drinks... and you know I understand I was really chill about that! why did it take us a whole 30 minutes to just get drinks!! A HI-C AND A SPRITE... 30 MINUTES... our appetizer came out at the 25-minute mark, but we never got drinks! like wth?? I asked for a manager and she was really nice. she asked if we ordered alcoholic drinks, and we kindly said no, just normal drinks, and she was shocked too. I kindly told her we weren't going to give our business here. the appetizer looked amazing, but 30 minutes of no drinks... like cmon! the manager didn't offer any solutions, just told us it was okay to leave and we left.. very upsetting situation. I was really trying to give them a chance, but our waitress was never to be seen..
