Black Creek Tavern

We used to love coming here once a week for Bingo and karaoke — now we just leave wondering how this place still has a business license. Our last visit sealed the deal. It took 45 minutes just to see appetizers, followed by another HOUR for our entrées… which showed up missing items and ingredients. My “grilled chicken salad” arrived without the chicken, and when it finally appeared, it was raw — as in, still clucking. The pizza dough had the consistency of soup, and the flavor of everything matched our waitress’s attitude: spoiled. When we politely asked why our drinks were taking so long, she told us the bartender “got pissed and walked out.” Charming. When the bartender finally reappeared, we tried ordering directly from the bar to save time, but that apparently offended our waitress — who suddenly declared herself the sole gatekeeper of all drink orders… despite not getting any of them right. At this point, ordering food here feels like a gamble, and Bingo night might be your best shot at winning anything. Not sure what’s more surprising — the raw chicken, the power-tripping waitress, or the fact that this place is still open.

I love this restaurant! They have some kind of activity for everyone every day of the week! Their food is delicious. I love the new menu options! Such a friendly atmosphere! You definitely need to experience it for yourself!

Black Creek Tavern is a really cool place! The food, the atmosphere & the people make this place stand out!! Very well ran and they always have live bands playing. There’s even a dance floor and a full bar! I’d highly recommend the Bushwhacker with screwball whiskey floater! This place is a must if you’re anywhere remotely close to it!

We came for karaoke tonight and discovered the new chicken parmesan. It is absolutely amazing! Thick chicken breast, delicious breading and plenty of cheese and pasta. My other new favorite is the Philly cheese steak fries. They are absolutely delicious! There is no way to describe the peach cobbler other than pure heaven! Great food and lots of fun here at Mad Pies tonight! Thank you for the great evening!

Just added Chicken Parmesian to their menu! AWESOME!!!! Nice thick piece of chicken, lots of cheese!!! Saw it on the board and had to try it! Glad I did. REALLY, REALLY GOOD!!! you gotta try it!!! Now if I can keep the wife from stealing it off my plate! Lol.
Been coming here for a while for Karaoke night. Love this place!! Recommend for everybody!!!

Awesome place for food, dancing, alcohol & live bands. Try the Bahama Mama for a drink. Black Sedan Band is putting on one hell of a show tonight!

Went for the first time last week and was very pleased with the experience. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive and the pizza was fantastic. Plus unknowingly going on bingo night ended up being very entertaining.

The steam table food reheated over and over and it’s nasty

Slow service, food is served literally still frozen, and warm food is clearly precooked and reheated. Can’t believe this place is still open.

There was a haunted house at the property and that was great fun. The restaurant/bar served decent food but the staff was kinda unpleasant. It was like we weren’t known to them so they just ignored us.

Since I live here in Alabama since 2019, that is great place to have to listen to music, food and pool. Etc. I would tell my family and friends about it.
