The service received was very good and the margaritas were on point! I highly recommend the Guacamole Casera as an appetizer. I had the Chicken Fajitas and my date tried the Fiesta Bowl, it was fantastic! The brightly decorated dining room and bar area just add to the ambiance. My only reason for not giving a five star review is due to it taking almost 30 minutes to receive our food after ordering. They were very busy and the server kept us stocked on drinks and chips and dip. Maybe after my next meal I can update to five stars!

We are in Birmingham for a doctors appointment and wanted Mexican for dinner. I opened Yelp and I find this gem that has 5 stars. I had the Molcajete and it was the best one I have ever had! They didn't slack on the sauce or the proteins. Absolutely delicious! Our server checked on us several times throughout the meal to make sure we didn't need anything. Awesome service! It was pretty quiet on this Monday night and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and their meals! I definitely recommend!

Went here on a business trip last year and now I choose my hotel to be close enough that I can hit this place. Love their beer and margarita mugs and the draft is ice cold and the margaritas are terrific. Love the chunky tomato salsa and that Grande Burrito needs to be in the hall of fame.

Sometimes service is excellent then sometimes you might have to refill your water glass in the bathroom sink. It's typically the guy servers that ignore refilling glasses. The ladies actually seem to enjoy serving customers.The food is always tasty and well prepared.I highly recommend visiting them but to be safe bring in a few water bottles.
Easily the best Mexican food I have ever eaten! We ordered Dos Equis beer (in tap). The waiter brought out huge mugs of ice cold beer . Each mug was big enough to be its own pitcher. I got the "Parilla El Patron. Steak, chicken, shrimp, and chorizo. A side plate of lettuce, rice and refried beans. It was a feast for a reasonable price. The roasted cactus and jalapeño pepper were very good as well. The wait staff was friendly and service was prompt. I would definitely eat here again and highly recommend it to others.
