Full Moon Bar-B-Que

This restaurant has been serving up delicious food for 20 years in Alabama, and I’m thrilled to see that they’re still maintaining such high quality. I had a wonderful time enjoying my stew, chilly, and house salad. But let me tell you, one of my absolute favorites is their key lime pie. It had the perfect balance of silky smooth lime custard without being too sweet.

This is a counter service restaurant. The young cashier was very friendly and accommodating. He answered all my questions patiently and was very friendly.
I think he was in training as his manager was hovering close behind and guiding him.

The turkey and pulled chicken were both bland and unseasoned. The portion size was skimpy for the price and compared with a meat platter from similar BBQ restaurants where I have dined. I guess they expected me to drown it in BBQ sauce to give it flavor rather than enhance it. I asked for extra crispy fries but they came slightly undercooked and warm, not hot. The side house salad was a generous portion and simple. The macaroni and cheese was thick and better than average.

One of the best chain BBQ joints out there. The Big Baker Potato they serve is huge and a really popular item. I'm usually going with the Open face pork sandwich. More meat than on most BBQ plates you will ever get !

The meat was perfectly cooked and phenomenal and the chow chow is delicious all by itself!!!!!

Unfortunately I don’t see how this is a top 10 bbq restaurant in the United States or so they claim the ribs flavorless, the crust indefinitely hard, brisket tasteless with even half the bottle of bbq sauce overall pretty disappointing

The chili cheese dogs are amazing. The deviled eggs are just like grandma used to make. Sooo good & so polite too!!

Such a good local food spot! Ate a plate full of brisket with NO FAT! Wonderful! Also loved the Christian music playing!

I got the big loaded potato. It is VERY large. You could make 2-3 meals from it imo. Very nice staff also. Prices reflect the food and is a fair price. Will be back. I want to try the catfish next!

September 10th 2024. I went through the drive thru at fullmoon BBQ, I ordered a 4 bone rib sandwich it was horrible, hardly no barbecue sauce on the meat and the meat was hard. They use to be better than this.

My husband & I both have noticed fat & gristle in our food at ALL of the bbq restaurants recently but this beats all of them! The thing you see on my fork is a huge strip of fat. Gross! This shouldn't have been served to anyone. There are no excuses for this. I'm very turned off to bbq now.

I ordered a big baker. The potato is rock hard, and dry as a bone. The pork itself is filled with the hardest portions of brisket that makes it near impossible to cut apart to eat. I will NEVER return to this place again

I decided to try this place based on reviews I’d read. It was across the street from my hotel and right off the interstate. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. I had the BarBQ pork platter with fries and BarBQ beans. Beans were cooked great and had a nice flavor to them. The pork was perfect but what really made it was the sauce they put on it. If I had had a cooler with me, I’d have bought a couple of pounds to take home. I was to full to try the desserts but they looked great.
