Disappointing Experience at Mugshots in Fultondale

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Mugshots in Fultondale. My party made reservations a month in advance for 6 PM, yet we were forced to wait 45 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. This was just the start of the issues.

To make matters worse, my entire party of 13 people received their food and was almost done eating by the time my order finally arrived. At that point, I refused my food because it was pointless to eat alone when everyone else was finishing up. Despite the obvious frustration and inconvenience, no one on the staff made any effort to make things right. There was no offer of a discount, a complimentary item, or even a sincere apology to address the delay and the poor service.

I left feeling completely disappointed and unappreciated as a customer. If you’re considering dining at Mugshots in Fultondale, beware of long waits and lackluster customer service. This experience was enough for me to never return.

This location used to be great when me and my wife wanted to indulge in a good burger and fries, but my last several orders have been messed up. However our order last night was the straw that broke the camels back! We ordered our usual(steak burger add fried egg/rotel fries/hicks Philly/queso fries/peanut butter shake and a coke)and it once again it was terrible. Our food was overcooked, fries weren’t fresh just looked and tasted as if they had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while(worked in the food/service industry in my youth so I know remixed old food when I see it). Everything literally looked thrown together, even my shake was sloppy! Peanut butter all over the lid and cup, literally globs of peanut butter on the outside of the cup and the shake wasn’t even mixed properly! I was so disgusted I couldn’t even eat it. I just hate that the quality has gone down so drastically at this location because we use to love getting food here, but we can’t continue to throw money away. I hope you all get it together, best of luck!

This is my worst food experience in over five years. I ordered one little burger with a kit bun no mustard, no pickles and it almost killed me. I had diarrhea gas, bloating, and vomit all night long. This was definitely not worth Montezuma’s revenge.

Burgers were really good. Service was good. Restraunt could use a little freshening up. Fries were steak fries, they were nice and crispy. They took our order quickly, and food came out fast.

The food was above average for a sports bar. The wait staff was very attentive to our needs. Isabella, our waitress always kept our drinks full and asked if we needed anything several times. Service you don’t normally get at most sports bars and far better service than any Hooters.

3 years ago I left a 5 star review for this mugshots, but after going back several times over the years my review is vastly different. My husband and I ate there today. There were 3 people at the bar, but no one in the booths or the tables. It was at 4 in the afternoon. There wasn't a server anywhere to be seen. You have to wait to be seated, so we stood there for 15 minutes. We were about to leave, when someone finally came out and seated us. He promptly took our order which was nice but when our food was brought to us less than 10 minutes later it was very disappointing. Normally, when they are cooked to order, they are steaming hot. This burger had been sitting bc it was ice cold. That's how they were able to bring it out so quickly. To make things worse, our server never came back, therefore, never refilled our empty tea glasses. He finally came and took our plates but then didn't give us our ticket! We waited 15 minutes, and I finally got up and banged on the counter till someone came out. Again, we were the only table in the restaurant. We asked him when he seated us if he was the only person working today, half joking, bc it took so long to be seated. He said no there were 4 servers working! This was entirely unacceptable! 4 servers working but waiting to be seated, cold food and no refills and having to wait on a ticket! The bathrooms were filthy to top it all off! We won't be back!

It was a pretty standard bar/grill. Food was all right. Fast service. Appreciated that they could make my sandwich a wrap. My husband’s order was incorrect. Hot sauce was good. Half the TVs had a blue hue.

Fries were a little heavy and greasy. Not light and crispy.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free buns were a nice menu item to have. It allowed our gluten free daughter to get a burger.

Food was okay, mushrooms were really good. Ordered a second drink which was the strawberry margarita asked for nothing on the rim came to me with salt. The drink was really good but never came out until I was done eating and ready to go. Waitress was not at all attentive . Not a place I will come back to.

Burger tasted like it was cooked that morning and nuked in the microwave right before they served it to me that night, had to drink a gallon of tea because it was so dry, server was very nice, atmosphere was nice as well, but microwaved burger leaves a bad taste in your mouth, probably will not be back to this location.
