It was my boyfriend and I second time to go to Captain D's in Gardendale Alabama, the food was hot and perfect, the girl at the drive through window was so sweet. We live in Decatur Alabama, but we we are in Gardendale again we will stop by Captain D's and this place is a lot better than Trussville and Decatur.

I normally don’t write reviews but I just wanna compliment Captian D’s and say how much I appreciate their hard work. I’ve been a few times for lunch recently and the food has been so good! Everytime I go, it’s a short wait, great service, and great food. Today I went through the drive through and let me just say the staff was so nice! When I was at the order window getting my food, the drive through operator was so sweet and friendly! She complemented me! Thank you Captian D’s for your good service and kind staff!

I waited for 45 minutes for my take out order. The it was wrong when I finally got it. This the second and last time I will wait for my food at this location. I won’t be back anytime soon.
The employees were very rude and talked on their phone and yelled at each other and then threw my two orders of fries in the window. There was no tea and the dining room was nasty.
