I guess understaffed during my visit. 1 person working both drive thru and mobile order lane.. made me wait several minutes even though I was there before the others...unapologetic. I'll stick to Fultondale location

Went through the drive-thru and was helped by Reeve, he was incredible! Visibly tired, yet full of grace, smiling through it all without a word of complaint. It was the first time someone offered to pray for me specifically at the Chick-fil-A drivethru, and his prayer was heartfelt, clean, and clearly Christ-centered. Truly a standout employee!

Three G's

I’ve been a longtime customer of this Chick-fil-A location and have noticed a steady decline over the past one to two years—possibly due to a change in management or ownership. Unfortunately, the attention to cleanliness and the signature friendliness Chick-fil-A is known for seems to have slipped.

On several visits, I’ve encountered employees—both in the drive-thru and inside—who appeared visibly unhappy to be there, sometimes even bordering on rude. That kind of demeanor is disappointing, especially coming from a brand that has historically set the standard for exceptional customer service.

While the food has remained fairly consistent, the recent change to the fry recipe is definitely a step down. They lack the flavor and texture Chick-fil-A fries used to have.

This location has the potential to be great again, but it needs to revisit the standards that made it a standout in the first place—better training, better hiring, and a renewed focus on the customer experience

Horrible experience starting with the guy who took my order at the drive thru who speaks so fast he's very hard to understand, even after asking him to slow down. When I asked for a receipt he said I would get one at the window when I get my food. After waiting in a slow moving line I finally got my order but no receipt. When I asked for the receipt, the employee went inside with my order, then after a few minutes I see him go to the other side of the building, talking with other employees. He's still holding my order that is getting colder by the minute. I called out, questioned the delay and was told the printer at the drive thru was not working but they were trying to get the receipt. More minutes passed, no receipt, and my order is still in the hands of the employee. I got the attention of another employee and asked to speak to the manager, she eventually goes across the room, talks to someone and then told me the manager would be out shortly. More time passes, I'm sure I have been at the window more than 10 minutes by now, still no food, no receipt and no manager. Eventually I am told that the manager is on break. By this time people in line behind me are honking horns. I'm so frustrated at the lack of service I asked for a refund. While I'm waiting for the refund to be processed the manager finally appears but all he could say is the printer wasn't working and he didn't seem concerned. Of course, because the printer wasn't working I didn't get a receipt that the credit was processed either.

Every single time I’ve ever been to Chick Fil A it’s always been a good wonderful experience. Had a mobile order and then was instructed to pull through the drive thru again. Poorly organized drive thru.

This is the worst Chik-fil-A I have ever been to. This is more about Gardendale than it is Chik-fil-A. All of the restaurants in Gardendale are the worst versions of themselves. Do not eat in Gardendale. Just go on to the next city. This one is slow, and the food does not taste as good as other locations. They only have one drive thru lane now since they replaced the second lane with mobile orders only, and it take twice as long now.

My last 3 visits to chickfila had been a crap shoot, they forgot eating utensils, creamer and sugar for coffee, salsa for the burrito, granola for my yogurt, napkins etc....Gods children are slipping..

This Chick-fil-A has improved significantly since its remodel!

The employees are friendly and polite, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The addition of two lanes has noticeably sped up service, making the drive-thru experience much more efficient. It’s great to see this location turn things around, and I’m happy to support them now!
