I am a rewards member and my last visit was not very good. I ordered a lunch portion at $9.49 and was charged $12.99. Then when I checked out my bill was $14.27 or so. When I saw my charge on my bank it was for $17.27. What was that extra for. Won't be back to cracker barrel for a good while. Not good experience at all.
Our waitress was very attentive to our needs. The food was served hot and within a timely period.

waitress was great everything just right and checked anyway, very pleasant. grilled trout was delicious. wasnt a rushed dinner but still worked out to be an efficient stop on a long day of driving.

CB was fairly busy, even at the tail end of breakfast. The hostess greeted us with a smile and super, "how you'll doing. We were seated quickly. Our server was quick to serve us. Our food and drink was very timely and hot and fresh and so ooo very good. Great coffee. Server kept check on us nicely. Dining room was clean and the store was clean and well stocked with goodies, whatnots, clothing, candles. Restrooms and outside very clean. Nicely done. Checkout was very friendly.Parking: Big parking lot, well marked and signs for handicapped and take out parking in good view.

I called in my order and picked it up at the Gardendale location… we frequently visit this location monthly however this time when we got home and saw the macaroni and tasted it, it was awful!! We couldn’t even eat it. Had to throw it away… Not sure who cooked it on 4/4/24 but it was bad.

The cracker barrel is always a wonderful place to go. The barrel bites consist of something called the loaded tater tots. Those things are absolutely fantastic we got two orders for $8.95 and everybody loved them. The tater tots are good and creamy inside and the cheese is melted and gooey along with the bacon, fantastic.I got the ham platter and the ham was salty and delicious like it should be. None of that sweet cured stuff. The only drawback that I had was the place was so packed that it took a long time to get our food but hey when you have great service and great atmosphere and great food what do you expect. My server wrote me a cute little note and I was grateful for that she was excellent I would recommend her to anyone her name was Carla. Beautiful blonde haired woman

when we got ther the girl at the seating station just took 2 menues silverware and walked away. I told my husband I guess we follow her as there were other people waiting. We waited and waited for a waitress. I wasnt really that busy about 1/3 full. I finally went and ask another server with a skimpy seated area if she would take my order and she went and got our server. Seems like they just need to communicat.e like ... Hello Will you follow me to a table? and the aitress just stop quickly and say I have a few things to do and then I will be right with you. Food was good just not over the top

I had a bad experience with the curbside service. Despite waiting for several minutes, my food wasn't delivered to me and I had to go inside the restaurant to get it. I wasn't greeted and when I asked if there was an order for me, I felt like I was bothering the staff. Overall, I am very disappointed with the service and it makes me reconsider coming back.

I decided to take myself on a breakfast date and they did not disappoint. I ordered the country boy breakfast. And let me tell you it was delicious. Chef’s kiss! Greeted by a greeter that didn't speak a word then a server who got our drinks and 45 min later we got our food and not an offer of a refill or even a word from a single staff member other than when we got our food/drink. Then a cashier that had obviously rather been anywhere else on earth than there. Not the worst service I've ever gotten but definitely bottom 5... fast food included.

The service was beyond excellent, even tho there was a long wait for larger parties, since we were a small party of 4 (2 adults /2 toddlers) they sat us pretty much immediately at a nice little table and our food was ? delish!!Kid-friendliness: The kids love the funfetti pancakes
