I have never received service as bad as I did on my last visit. And never imagined that a place would kick out a paying customer. I was rudely and loudly told that I needed to ‘buy something or leave’ by someone I assume was a manger or supervisor, not sure. Crazy part is I had eaten breakfast there that morning and obviously paid for it. And I had just finished enjoying my lunch, which I paid for, when I was told this. I will never be back to this McDonald’s unless changes are made with the staff.

It's McDonald's. Nothing special on the menu for overpriced fast food. Overwhelmingly bland interior that feels like sitting in a prison galley. They do have nice, clean bathrooms.

I haven't ate here in awhile from any location. But today was the last day I will ever eat McDonald's again, especially the Gardendale location. The burgers were very salty, the fries were old and extremely salty, the new chicken strips were overcooked and tasted like old grease. The only thing that was good was the coke and my fillet of fish but they have shrunk that down so much it was hardly anything. I will never eat McDonald's again.
The drive thru team has been very courteous to me the last 2 times I have visited. McDonald's is typically relatively fast with the same food (love it or hate it), but they were above the norm in both speed and manners

Food was hot and accurate. Manager was friendly. Restaurant appeared clean, including the restroom. The woman standing at the register however doing nothing didn't even great me or say a word to me. She just stood there with a big frown on her face and hand on her hip. Also, why charge $0.40 just to add mayo? I've never been to a McDonald's that charges to remove ketchup, mustard, and add mayo. I just don't think it's fair to charge to substitute a sauce for another. The owners of this location must be very greedy.
