Drove from Boaz to get the bbq, potato salad & slaw. Always worth the money and drive. This time was different, the bbq was very dry, not as good as normal. Everyone can have a bad day I guess.

bbq tasted awful like dirty smoke. The baked beans were warmed up pork and beans no seasonings or spices.We wasted our money . 2 bites in and we got up and left.Service was great . The 2 young ladies were very nice. The food was not.

Horrible place! Nasty they don’t use sanitizer water! They leave their chicken out of the freezer in thawed.
Staff was very dry like the BBQ..... Nice building..but that's it. Potato salad very watery, never had to drench my BBQ in BBQ sauce to have to eat it..

My family and I stopped at James BBQ about 2 weeks ago, service was phenomenal and the food was plentiful for the money, Will definitely be back, Owner Eric was there training on the night shift to make sure the new employee was properly trained and was even washing dishes. Now. that's a leader
