We were looking for something other than fast food when we ran across Cheeky's. We were seated right away and our server (who turned out to be the owner) was there right away. This is home-style Southern cooking. I had the BBQ chicken sandwich and fries (with sweet tea of course - this is the South). I saw buttermilk pie on the menu. Never heard of it but is sounded good. Made from scratch and it was delicious. Highly recommend. One of my friends had the daily special and got a good amount of food for a relatively small price. If you are near Gordo, Alabama look for this place. It is off the main road but worth the stop.

Cheeky Burger is basically a grilled buffalo chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun. Very good. Not overly spicy.

Food is good. Only problem we have ever had is we seem to get this one waitress that is absolutely horrible. Never get drink refills, too busy on her phone and going back into the kitchen talking. If it wasn't for her the place would be perfect!! Worst time was on the all you can eat catfish night. She brought the first serving and never came back. But other than her the place is great!!!
Excellent! Country food choices in a lovely rustic environment. Clean place. Nice sized food portions. Great service. Bread baskets with your choice of rolls or cornbread. A choice of meats that includes hamburger steak, fried chicken, chicken and dumplings and more. I love the vegatable choices including fried green tomatoes, my personal favorite. Also, Lima beans, green beans, fried okra, mashed potatoes with gravy, coleslaw, potato salad and many more to choose from. Beth, the head chef/part owner takes the time to interact with you and get input on your experience. I highly recommend this place.
