Kitchen of the Sea is a really good place to get lunch or dinner if you hate going to "fast food" places and want really good home cooking. The employees are nice and they get your food ready quickly.
Food was amazing and reasonable in price

Awesome food, great prices!!!
10/10. I visited with my aunt who lives in the area. The three ladies inside were helpful and kind. While there is no indoor seating, it doesn't take away from the atmosphere and charm. The food portions are enough to fill you without having to waste food. Even their sweet tea was amazing (I'm very judgemental of sweet tea). The menu is quite large for this little hole in the wall type place. The food was so so good. Even my very picky little eaters were happy! I look forward to visiting again!
Loved this little place. We ate outside under a canopy. The food was delicious including the fried fish, very tasty fried shrimp, and surprisingly good fried squash. I don’t normally eat fried food but this was light and well seasoned.

Stopped in here the other day with my husband while passing through. Walked in to order and immediately said, "Yep, this is dinner. " The smells were wonderful, and the menu looked great.
A very kind and patient lady took our order, we sat outside under the shade and waited only a few minutes before our hot, fresh po-boys, hand-breaded fried squash and hushpuppies arrived.
Highly recommend, and we will absolutely be stopping back by next time we're even remotely close to the area!

Delicious food with unmatched service anywhere! Great Burgers and Po-boys! Our favorite has been the fried crab claws which is usually on Fridays. I highly recommend this place for some great food!

My husband and I just left Kitchen of the Sea and had a fantastic lunch/early dinner! Everything we tried was absolutely delicious! 1000% recommend visiting and supporting this local restaurant if you're in the area.
Whenever we're back down this way. We will definitely stop by again !
I'll attach photos but my husband got the fried shrimp platter with hush puppies and fried pickles. I got the half and half Platter of friend oysters and catfish with crayfish cakes and fried corn cob (soooooo good!) And we also tried the the crayfish pie! Oh my goodness, everything was so yummy.
Nice large plates also and priced super reasonable. I cannot express how much I recommend this place!
We will be back !
Oh! And they have a cute little picnic outdoor seating which was perfect.

You can’t go wrong with this place,I’ve heard about this family owned place from more than 1 person, when you go out to eat you want good service along with great food, you can’t have one without the other and this place has it,the prices are unbeatable and it also has Dutch ice cream and that is the best!! The best place in Grandbay to eat..before you go check and make sure they are open because they are closed I think 1 day or 2 days a week..I am a random customer and will be there for my next lunch!!

There’s no place to eat there. It is to go only unless the weather is nice enough to sit at the picnic tables out front. It was a random stop for me and it was not bad. It was just overcooked a little bit.
