An absolute MUST if you are anywhere near! You won’t find better staff or food this quality. The owner even stopped to chat when I was staring at everything I wanted (the whole menu.) Everyone was down to earth, friendly as can be and made sure everything was excellent! You will enjoy every bite and want more. Everything was delicious: I had the LRG bbq sandwich, hush puppies, fired okra, loaded fries & triple chocolate pie! My friend said the bacon burger and loaded fries...
We were hunting pancakes, and we found them!! Porky’s 2 was open for breakfast. Yum! We got our pancakes: we ordered two each. Oh, boy—the pancakes filled the plate to overlapping, and tall—I’ve seen other places with shorter tall stacks. The flavor of the pancakes was yummy, they are fried in butter! Overall: wonderful. The staff was friendly and cheerful. The dining room was closed off based on the chairs down with the rest still on the tables. Maybe a pull out screen...
Hardly ever open and when they are, they are out of stuff. No ribs and you're a bbq place? Food is good but the counter people freak out when more than 4 people come in at one time.
