Was hesitant about going since the menu has very little to offer and the prices keep climbing. But, we decided to go once again; after ordering drinks we waited for an hour and still no appetizer. Decided to not wait any longer and just pay for our beverages. With a limited menu, it should be very easy to accommodate the 6 tables with people that were there, but they couldn't even keep that in order; 2 other tables had their meals before we even had an appetizer and they came in after we did. Yet another restaurant that feels locals will have no choice but to come in...thanks but I'll drive elsewhere.
Locally Owned Restaurant. Food Was Delicious. I Got The Ribeye. Wife And Kiddo Got Pizzas. Everything Was Excellent. Service Was Great. Everyone Was Super Friendly. Definitely Go There To Eat If You're In Greenville.

We had read the reviews & decided to check it out. The restaurant was hot & not comfortable. We had ordered the spicy Camerones app..the only app. it was very good but, was very soupy. It would have been better as a soup. The calzones were our entrees. Not good at all. Way too much dough & very dry. The red sauce we were given was ice cold from the fridge. The presentation was non existent. Both calzones looked different. Not appealing looking or good in taste. Sorry..

Wow!!! This place is incredibly delicious! I was staying in Montgomery and my friend took me to Greensville saying this is gonna be some of the best food I'd ever eat. He was spot freakin on. I had the amberjack fish, my wife had the snapper, my friend had a pizza that looked like a round patch of paradise and we all laughed with our wonderful servers. We relaxed after with a drink on their darling back deck. Seriously, please go to the Alabama Grill. I am already missing it and will now make a pilgrimage every time I'm back in Alabama. Just go there and thank me later!

This is definitely a place for locals. I’m sure it’s great, but with as unwelcome as our server made us feel, I paid for our drinks and left. The server was obviously ready for the day to be over. I’m not sure if that’s why she made my wife and I sense disdain that we were there, or if it’s because we’re not local to Greenville. Maybe we’ll give it another try when it’s not an hour before closing.

If you ever find yourself in Greenville, Alabama, make it a point to stop by the Alabama Grill—a hidden gem where unforgettable food meets heartfelt hospitality. Our group of six had the pleasure of dining here, and we left absolutely blown away by the experience.
From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with true small-town warmth. The atmosphere was inviting, cozy, and full of character. What made the evening even more memorable was the exceptional service we received—not just from the staff, but from the owner herself. She personally welcomed us to the restaurant, taking the time to chat with our group and make us feel right at home. Her pride in the restaurant and her passion for the food and community shone through in every interaction.
Everything was cooked to perfection, and you could tell it was made with love and attention to detail. Beyond the incredible food, what truly stood out was the sense of community. Locals were gathered around the bar, there was laughter throughout the dining room, and the entire staff made us feel like part of the family. It’s rare to find a place where you can enjoy top-notch food and feel so genuinely welcomed all in one evening.
Exceptional service, unforgettable food, and the kind of Southern hospitality that makes you want to stay a little longer—Alabama Grill in Greenville, AL is everything you want in a small-town dining experience. Our group of six agreed: this wasn’t just a meal, it was a memory. We can’t wait to return.
A true 5-star experience.

We were hungry on the way back from Birmingham and pulled into a little town called Greenville. The Alabama Grill was open and we were hungry. There was a lively group of patrons. I ordered chicken sandwich and a salad. My wife had hamburger with mushrooms. The hamburger was tough and hard to chew. We sent it back to cook it more and maybe make it easire to chew. My salad was almost a meal in itself. It took some work to finish it. The chicken sandwich tasted okay but there places where the meat was tough and hard to chew. Other than that it was okay. You guys need to tenderize your meats.

Originally, a local eatery in the 40s. Pictures show the current original bar and dividing wall. Small -4 - 2 top, 10 4 top and bar. House 10 inch pizzas and create your own. Great flavors and plenty toppings. Huge salads. $40 steaks as big as dinner plates. They know their regulars but interact like family with visitors. I'm definitely returning.

My husband and I ate lunch yesterday at the AL Grill and boy were we surprised. We had the most amazing grilled chicken sandwich and turnip green soup. It was not fast food but it was wonderful. We will definitely drive back there from Montgomery just to eat another sandwich. Can't wait to try other items. Good luck owners and staff and great job. Plus the waitress was very kind, efficient and respectful.
