Finally got the opportunity to stop and have lunch. The sandwiches were excellent! Will be stopping again soon for potatoes. Everyone was incredibly friendly. Highly recommend.
The soda machine was shut down an hour before closing forcing us to buy small soda bottles for 3.00. We were rushed. I don’t know if they have a new manager but it’s not the friendly place as before

OK, my first bad idea was to get a sandwich from a place called The Big Potato, but they were on the menu. I ordered a BLT, simple. What I got was a L sandwich with tomato's and bacon sliced so thin you could read the newspaper through them! And the lettuce was shredded. Who puts shredded lettuce on a BLT? I didn't even eat the whole thing. Figured I would save my daily carb intake on something more satisfying. No salt, no pepper, no flavor! Other than the taste of the mound of shredded lettuce.
Again, my mistake, I guess, for ordering a sandwich from a potato place.
And, fyi, hubby ordered the roast beef sandwich, it was a 2.5 out of 5 stars.
Seriously the BLT's from the QT is 10X better and half the price! (And they give you bacon and tomatoes you can't read through!)
The staff was friendly, but they weren't in a hurry for anything...js. Restaurant was clean and spacious. That's the reason for the 2 stars.

The food was delicious! BLT with Avacado and the Pulled Pork Baked Pot!!! The BBQ sauce is yummy! Great service as well!

The potatoes are big, tasty, hot and fluffy. But the wait is ridiculous. Ordered at 1:38 got 2 potatoes at 2:20. Wasn't even that busy. If they shortened the wait time it would be 5 stars.

Great food and quick service. Main attraction is a huge baked potato available with a variety of toppings ranging from the ubiquitous butter and sour cream to unique options like crawfish or bbq. I had a Pimento BLT sandwich on my last visit and it was great, too. Welcome alternative to the standard interstate trip fast food options.
Vegetarian options: Is a potato a vegetable? There are also salads available.
Parking: Short walk to Tesla Supercharger in nearby hotel lot
Kid-friendliness: Kids menu available. Ice cream cones for dessert

It's hard to find this place open because they have odd business hours and we only pass by otw to or from the beach. Finally caught them open and it was well worth the effort! The potatoes are huge, and the selection is so good it took me an hour during the drive to pick what I wanted. I don't think you could go wrong - it all looked and smelled fabulous. I settled on the crab and hubs got the bacon Mac n cheese. Both were awesome. Potatoes are served wrapped in a nice foil boat, so everything stays together and doesn't spill out, the worst part of eating loaded potatoes! We will definitely plan to stop again next trip. Sauces served on side instead of being already poured on the potatoes, which is fantastic!

Oh my GOODNESS, this was so good. I had been eyeing the place for months but when I finally ate there it was better than I could have ever imagined. I definitely recommend.

The food at Big Potato was good, but the service was very slow. It took 45 minutes to get three baked potatoes and a sandwiches . I hope they improve their service speed.

Great place to stop for a quick and different lunch. We are headed back from the beach and I not a fan of fast food. My husband suggested this place for a good sandwich. I'm also usually not a sandwich fan.
So glad we tried it though.
I had the Pimento Cheese sandwich. They toasted the bread on the Pimento Cheese which is the best way to do it.
My husband had the grilled cheese with tomatoes. Both were very well done and tasted great.
I had 2 scoops of Bluebell ice cream on a waffle cone. My husband got a Mexican Coke (in a bottle and made with real cane sugar).
It looked like only locals know about this place so the line at noon on a Saturday wasn't long at all.
We will definitely stop by there coming and going to the beach next year.
Vegetarian options: Baked potatoes, Pimento Cheese sandwich, Pimento Cheese salad with crackers, grilled cheese sandwiches and tomatoes can be added, salads
Parking: Plenty plenty of free parking right at the door in the Tractor Supply parking lot.
Kid-friendliness: The seating is at picnic tables and there are plenty of baked potato and sandwich options for picky eaters. They are playing Tom and Jerry cartoons on the TV which we watched too.
