Unfortunately we went to this Waffle House last night because it was late and the resteraunt was right next door.
Service was good & what we had ate was good until we saw a roach come across are table, then another one was on the seat. We were ready to leave after that & before we left there was another one on the floor.
I told the waitress each of the 3 times I saw the bugs and she said sorry about that each time. I would think they would have shut down until they could take care of the bug issue.

It was clean and had great food but the service was the best of all. The server without having to be asked managed to decrease the amount of plates on our table (I have a family of 6) by consolidating the meats that came on the side (bacon/sausage) on to one plate which gives up much more table room and they also made sure to check on us while we ate. This is the best service I have ever had at a waffle house or dare I say at any fast food establishment.
I go out to eat A LOT (way more than I shouldā¦) and we are often at Waffle House. I have had horrible service before (ironically never before at Waffle House), but I have NEVER had a server be HALF as rude as the service we suffered through today.
Just a few examples: When she asked us if we needed anything (while sprinting past our table) and we said yes, her response was ājust give me a minuteā when she forgot my sauce she was irritated at me saying āgive me a minute.ā Each interaction we had included some form of being visibly and/or audibly annoyed at us from the moment we sat down. She literally rolled her eyes AT my sister when she asked for a to-go cup of coffee. The moment the inspired my first ever negative review? My husband asked for a to go cup of coffee as well. She brought an empty cup, and he politely said āoh, may I please have coffee in it as well.ā her response?? āOH you donāt want a āto goā cup (as she picks up whatās left in my husbands mug and angrily dumps it into the to go cup) what you ACTUALLY want is a to go cup of coffee.ā Honestly. I am borderline in shock- especially because we were not being high maintenance! Each adult(3) asked for a refill once, (including both Togo cup requests!) and the only special requests made were for hot sauce and a side of pickles.
My two cents? Just keep driving to Cracker Barrel.
Incidentally : the food was just a delicious as I always expect from Waffle House!!!

Eat at WH all over the country. This is the WORST! NEVER got my water, coffee was old and half a cup, even his coffee wasn't good and he eats at a WH 3 times a week, asked for more and got half a cup no creamer. I ordereed hashbrowns and usually say everything but chill, jalapeƱos and gravy. I've never been asked to name each item and had to ask for cheese. Asked for crispy bacon, ends not done. All 3cwere constantly complaining about a customer. I had to leave a $5 because I hadn't ones. As a former waitress, I can tell you their attitudes would not make the grade elsewhere. Only good thing that I can say is that it had a clean bathroom.

Absolutely ridiculous attitude on the staff at this location. Iām from GA and have frequented plenty of Waffle Houseās. Almost every time service is at least good. We came today around noon and there were three employees behind the counter. At the time we came in there was one family waiting for a to go order and another lone gentleman eating his food. I came with my wife and her family while returning from vacation. We sat ourselves like usual and tried to place drink orders. We were informed that it is their policy that they canāt take drink orders until food orders are placed. Confusing as the drinks arenāt free with the meal, you are charged for them but whatever. My mother in law asked for plastic silverware and the waitress acted as if we asked her to pay for them. She let out sighs of disgust and verbalized āhere we goā ābougie peopleā. I asked her what the problem was and didnāt understand the attitude. She retorted, ā I wasnāt talking to youā at that point I questions the drink policy as Iāve never encountered this at a Waffle House. At that point her and her coworkers decided to make an entire scene out of it. We left and drove up to the Montgomery location and had zero problems. AVOID
