Been coming to Gulf Shores for 28+ years. Bahama Bobs was our "go to" for the last several years. Last year we were walking to eat there as we saw the smoke rolling into the air and stood by watching our favorite place burn. We are back this year, have been excited to return this year and was so disappointed. Service was good, but the food was nothing to brag about. Very bland. The prices have went up and the food quality has went down majorly.
Unfortunately we won't be returning after this visit.
Too many other places to go and get GOOD food.
Not dry, over cooked, bland food!

All 4 orders were as menu. I only stated 4 on food because both grilled shrimp/scallops were cool on 2 orders. Seated on exterior p8cn8c benches, so did not see/experience inside. Drinks we ok. Green beans salty from meat, but paired well with red potatoes.

We came in with 14 guests from out of town. We ordered drinks, and a few appetizers. We expected a little bit of a wait for food, etc. because of the large group. We arrived at 3:30pm to avoid the crowd. We left the restaurant at 6 pm. 10 people at our table were finished with our dinners, at least 20 minutes before the rest of the people got their food. We weren't offered any discount for the wait on the rest of the food. Will not be returning when on vacation. Server was not apologetic at all and had charged one of the family members a $24 shrimp plate when it should have been a $10 child's plate. She then put two a shrimp plates on one bill, when only one was ordered. Check your tickets. What a shame.

The burger was quite dry for medium. No juicy at all. Barely comes with any fries. Definitely not a 19$ burger.

The grilled scallops were overcooked also.

Would not eat here again. The only good things were the staff.

Really enjoyed the Coconut shrimp. A few of them were just a tad overdone but still very enjoyable. If you stay within walking distance of the place it’s an easy way to get dinner. Small public beach with parking is literally right next to the place. We took our food to the beach and enjoyed eating next to the Gulf. Seagulls will see you coming and a few begged for a minute but once they figured out we weren’t going to feed them left us alone. Probably we’re only there because some idiots feed them 10 min earlier. Enjoyable. Portion size was good. A little overpriced on the meal 8 coconut shrimp/fries and Cole slaw for $25. Traded Cole slaw for a different side at no extra cost. Put sub was more fries because we were going to be eating on the beach and wanted finger food an they gave us 2 Togo boxes full of fries so it ended up being more than 2 of could eat. So factor that in and it really wasn’t bad. I saw someone say frozen drinks were around $6.50. I found they were more like $10. They come in styrofoam cups so you can take them with you. Pretty cool! Have fun while your at the beach!!

To be fair the place was very busy however me and my dad waited for 15 minutes trying to get the bartender's attention to order lunch and the waitress that had no tables was just apologizing to us and telling us to give our order to the bartender we ended up leaving without ordering.

The seafood is so delicious here. Friendly environment and we had the absolute best server i have ever had at any restaurant! I highly recommend Bahama Bob's to anyone whom likes seafood.
