Thanks Cantina La Luz for a great dining experience tonight....fantastic Happy Hour house margaritas, the best salsa, fresh chips, yummy food, and wonderful service! It's a hidden gem next to Rouses Market at 59 & Ft. Morgan Road. We'll definitely be back!!!Vegetarian options: My friend asked for fajita veggies on rice and cheese and the waitress said they could definitely accommodate her. There were also other veggie options on the menu.
Ordered delivery from Cantina La Luz. The service fees on delivery add up. We were home with colds and too tired to go out or cook. The delivery and communication was excellent and our food arrived in 25 mins. Portions were ample. Food was fresh and tasty. Very nice chicken tamale with plenty of chicken, fluffy masa, yum. Mexican style steak taco was authentic and good with marinated steak well seasoned but a little too salty. Supreme beef burrito was big enough for 2! Good flavor. Various condiments, salad, rice and beans fresh and tasty. Arrived hot. Highly recommend.
Food here tastes just like it came right out of a can! No flavoring no seasoning! Queso dip tasted like it had sour cream in it. The chips in the salsa was probably the only good thing! The steak burrito was very bland hardly any seasoning! Service however was amazing! Our server made sure that we had our drinks etc. The rice also tastes like it came straight out of a bag. No flavoring just orange!

Small portion sizes for price. My Quesidilla was Taco sized. Picture is of my Quesidilla. Steak was too salty to eat. Was told it was "Guatemalan style" whatever that is. Queso was cold. Would not eat here again.

This is our second time eating here, second time being tonight and I must say BOTH times the service, food quality, prices and everything else about this place has been outstanding. The owner is a very nice guy and active within the restaurant going from table to table asking how to food is. Will definitely be going back.
Very good food. Very friendly staff. The best Mexican restaurant we have eaten at thus far.

Hadn't been there for about 2 years. Menu was small and no variety. Small portions. Taste was mostly greasy. Bar was closed. No common beverage that everyone drinks. Bar area was sad. Should have known that 5:30 Friday afternoon place was empty. Walked in 4 employees and only 1 young man said high. The rest just stared at us no smile at all. Our waitress was very polite and helpful. She could do better for a job. Will not be back.
