Friday night dinner. The staff was pleasant and I got seated pretty fast. They were busy and the chips, bottled salsa and wrapped silverware were put on the table. I had my order taken very quickly and my food came out fast. I ordered Poblanitos and Chili Con Carne. Both of these dishes were wonderful. The Chili was spicy enough, but not too much and the sauce in the Poblanitos was very savory a good contrast. The chicken was very tender also. I would recommend both of these dishes. With great service and food I would highly recommend dinner here.

If you like unseasoned chicken, frozen steamed vegetables from Walmart, and pollo loco with no cheese this is the place for you! I’ve never found a Mexican restaurant I wouldn’t go back to until this one. ✌🏼

The food was so good! Salsa was perfectly spiced. Chef has been there 25 years and you can tell. Not your “institutional foods” like most places. Shelly is very attentive making sure you have everything just right. Would highly recommend. Wait staff is spot on. Will be back again

Their food is good, but their service is not. They've taken to tacking on a 20% tip on to-go orders, and are surly if you catch them at it ask for it to be removed or reduced. Also, they left off the tortillas for my fajitas from my last to-go order. When I returned to ask for the tortillas, they refused to give any sort of discount for my time and trouble.

My husband and I are locals and have been coming to El Toro just about every week for quite some time now. We’ve never been disappointed. We’re from Texas so upon moving here we immediately started searching for a good Mexican restaurant. We found our place at El Toro. We both agree El Toro consistently has the best Mexican food we’ve ever tried. We love the Fajitas Texanas, Chili Rellenos, cheese dip, fresh guacamole, Spanish rice, refried beans, chips and salsa. My husband loves their grilled jalapeños as well. Everything tastes so fresh. They have fabulous margaritas too! We always enjoy the Mexican music and overall atmosphere. We always feel welcome and are treated very well by the manager, Shelly and the servers, especially Martha and Julio. We’re always greeted with a smile even when they’re dealing with personal issues or a busy work load which truly impresses us because as we all know it’s not easy to have your game face on all the time. Thank you El Toro family for making this world a better place!
