Stayed for a week and ate out every day. This was our least favorite. Poor quality food and our waitress wasn’t nice.

Food was abysmal. Under seasoned and greasy. Ordered grouper but received what was clearly tilapia. Was a take out and get on the road in a hurry situation, so no chance for a correction. Very disappointed.

OTOH, the service was terrific.

Great food, smaller portions and way lower prices than any places else.

The 3 wait staff just hung out chatting with each other. It's was not busy.
The bar tender was on top of everything! (Otherwise we would have left)
The appetizer and meals we ordered were tasty!

My order was greasy. We had 8 in our group and others had great food.
Our waiter was out of this world. Great service and our waiter knew everything about the menu. Best service in Gulf Shores!

Good food. Waited for a while for anyone to notice we were there and could be seated. Friendly waitress. Cool beach vibe.

I recently had dinner at Gulf Island Grill because it was close to where we were staying and they had fish tacos. I was a bit disappointed. The service was slow, and our food took a long time to arrive. When it finally did arrive, it was just okay. The main protein in each dish was overcooked, and the sides were bland. You dont get value for your money. At this price point, there are better restaurants in the area. I felt it was mediocre at best.
Overall, I would not recommend Gulf Island Grill to others.

Atmosphere and service was good. Food not so much. My wife had chicken tenders with sweet potato casserole and corn on the cob. Chicken was overcooked. Sweet potato casserole was good but barely warm. Corn was mushy. I had a burger and fries. Burger was edible but only warm. Fries were just cold. All in all, not very good. Plenty of better places to eat.

Wish I could give zero stars. It was awful! We were here on vacation for my birthday. When looking up restaurants with steaks this restaurants popped up. So we figured we give it a try.
Big mistake. Steaks were way undercooked, no seasoning, and tasted old. The sides (vegetables and island potatoes) weren't any better. Even the water was awful. We left with full plates on the table and horrible indigestion for the next two days. Absolutely the worst birthday dinner ever.
Complete waste of $109.00
So disappointed

We sat outside, it was a lovely day and would highly recommend it. The service was great and the waitresses accent was wonderful, made us feel like a tropical paradise.
