The Ice House is one of our favorite places in Gulf Shores. Specifically due to The outside area with live music and the fact that the Owners are just good people. Looking for live music? Stop here at 6pm.
This place checks all the boxes! Great food, friendly staff, live music, and great views. The owner even let my friends and I launch our paddle boards from their dock. All around great experience!
My finance and I came in for a meal and a few drinks. Being promptly greeted by Cassie with drink and food orders was a big plus. The touch tunes juke box is our fave and we were taking full advantage with some St. Paul.
Emma came in shortly after and also fulfilled drink orders for us. Both ladies were exceptional with customer interaction and personality!
But oh let me tell you, I’m not a picky eater. I’ve eaten a lot of good food In the south. But tonight I found something that TOPPED everything I’ve had in Gulf Shores.. and that’s the Boudin balls. The flavor of these will grab you by your shoulders and shake you. I’ve never been down to Louisiana but I’d like to think these gave me a prefect glimpse of what to expect.
It’s the perfect dive for a kid-less couple seeking a great environment for dinner. This place will be on the TOP of our list for our yearly visit to the Gulf.
We loved Frank and the girls!!

Great bar in Gulf Shores
Went the other night after a long day at work and had the best time!! The bartenders (mak and birdy ) were absolutely amazing they gave me recommendations on food and drinks which I loved!! The egg rolls were amazing!!! They gave the best service and will definitely be back as long as they are there with a smile!!
We spent the entire weekend in Gulf Shores for the “Sand In My Boots” festival. We ended all four nights at the IceHouse. They are the perfect mix of locals and tourists. The owner was on site mixing with everyone and truly made us feel like he had known us forever. The bartenders were slammed with the festival crowd and were still able to serve everyone in a timely manner. I have a new found respect for their profession after seeing that team throw it down!!!!! They kept great attitudes the entire time and the food was AMAZING!!! This isn’t just bar food. The steak tacos and those chicken nachos could compete with any restaurant out there! AND the kitchen is open til midnight sometimes later depending on the crowd which we were VERY thankful for on those late nights. They had live music downstairs and a DJ upstairs. We closed it down there pretty much every night and definitely have plans of going back! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
I moved to gulf shores 9 months ago and Icehouse has been my favorite place I go get food to go at least twice a week and enjoy the sunset views. The owner Anthony is super nice and makeena one of his bartenders treats everyone with such a welcoming attitude! The food is great and if you ever want a cold beer after a long day to just relax , this place is heaven! I can't say enough good things about this business and that is why I spend probably around $300-400 every month ordering food to go and a cold beers to watch the sunset a few times every week! Y'all are the best place on the Gulf !!
Had fun local hangout bar. Live music was good, if I lived here, would be my local bar.

Pretty fun dive bar with a jukebox. Younger crowd here at night, so bring your energy. Food is better than you would expect from a place like this. There’s a cool spot to drink on the water downstairs, has great sunset vibes. Overall one of the better bars to drink at down here if you want to meet someone.

Fantastic bar, right on the marsh. The food is very good, and the outdoor area is exceptional. Tons of wildlife out in the water to look at, and the sunsets here are truly amazing! Prices are very reasonable as well. Definitely a place to check out if anywhere near the area. Follow for more...

This place was fantastic. We sat on the deck literally ALL day watching college football. The boudin balls were out of this world. Service was fantastic, Lexis did an amazing job of keeping us hydrated and checking on us frequently. Amazing hang out spot.
