Absolutely outstanding ice cream. I had the raspberry chocolate and it had delicious sirla of raspberry, and scrumptious pieces of chocolate. My husband had the rocky road and it was a perfect blend of chocolate, nuts and marshmallows.

Delicious homemade ice cream, I had the banana split and it was delicious. If you’re in the area stop by Matt’s and grab small candy on the way out.

Kid-friendliness: My kids are older now but this is a place I would have loved to have bought them.

We have had ice cream from Maine to Montana and this is the best that we have ever had. It is so rich, creamy and flavorful. There is no artificial flavoring. What you order is what you get. I got the butterscotch brownie. The vanilla was so rich and there was swirls of real butterscotch throughout. There were pieces of real brownie and huge chocolate chips. My wife got the chocolate chip mint. She said it was fantastic. Not cheap but it is so good.

Love this ice cream place. We always stop by when in gulf shores. The colored cones make it very fun! The midnight caramel river is the best!

Just when you have gone through life thinking you knew what your favorite ice cream was. I came here and tried the Brown bourbon butter truffle omg. My ice cream world was turned upside down. We were greeted upon entering. We tried a few samples and made our choices. There was only one employee in sight but he managed our group of four and then two families behind us with ease. Great place great ice cream!

Matt’s is great- but it’s SMALL- particularly this location. If you go after dinner, plan on eating your cone standing up.
