I love mudbugs, it's definitely where we stop anytime we go to gulf shores. We love the lively atmosphere with wonderful attentive staff. (Sam is the best btw!!) Karaoke is always entertaining as well! We've never had a bad time!!Kid-friendliness: N O T kid friendly.

Dive Bar indeed. Drinks are cheap, Staff is pretty suspect and every surface in the place has a film and petina that you just can't recreate without years of bare minimum maintenance & upkeep... Nice decore and great location, can't wait to go back!

they only have one bartender working at each bar and terrible service. my friend was holding a $20 out to get served and some d bag in a security shirt walked up and took saying “oh he was just offering it”. absolute tool bag. it was some small fat middle aged white guy with a neck beard if anybody at this establishment actually even caresDietary restrictions: they don’t offer this service

Going to Gulf Shores is always a blast but finding Mudbugs made my trip last time I went. Amazing bartenders and all around great time! Sam was a blast to have as a bartender, she always had a solid dad joke or pun on hand to make you laugh!

DO NOT GO HERE. I waited 20 minutes to get in, just to be told it’s a $20 entrance fee and I would have to wait another 30 after I paid to get in. The staff was rude and it is not worth spending your money for their “service”. Honestly worst bar in Gulf Shore area.

I’m a huge fan of quaint dive bars, and this is one of the best! Definitely the best in gulf shores! The staff is amazing, prices are great, and I’ve always had a great time. Service is super quick and they have karaoke every night. Everyone puts on a show! (good or not so good) it’s always entertaining and fun!! Good bathroom mirror for selfies too

Came here with my girlfriend, who is 22. She handed her ID to the bouncer, and the guy scanned it over front and back before saying he had to go check it, and to wait at the door for him. He came back a minute later claiming her real ID was FAKE and that it would be confiscated.Another staff member, a lady who appeared to be some sort of manager (somehow), tried to say that it was fake because because "LICENSE" was spelled wrong. She got an attitude and condescendingly asked "do you know how to spell license?". Luckily my girlfriend snatched it out of her hand before it was destroyed or we would've had to resort to calling the police.Tell your staff to learn how to spell, how to Google a word to check for spelling, or how to verify an ID is real. Any of those would be great. We are now banned because of this manager's idiocy. TerribleDo not go here if you prefer competent staff. Good riddance

Felt like I was going to get worms just from breathing the nasty air in there. Like do they ever clean? Every table was filthy, non of the toilets worked and bathroom was flooded, bar tender was super mad about serving me for some reason. He shouldn't be in the service industry... just absolute nightmare of a place. Took my $50 and gave me $22 back for 2 beers... wouldn't answer me when I asked where the rest of my change was. Save your money. This place needs to be condemned, tore down and the air around where it stood saged. Major issues...
