Terrible service!!!!!!!!!!
Very disappointed! We walked all the way from San Carlos to bring my granddaughter there cause she loves the pink pony song. We were going to order some drinks and a appetizer but we were denied due to them not accepting LA wallet. I thought a law passed where it was accepted everywhere.
My family and I went there to eat on 8-11-25 (a Mon night) at 8:30p, the sign says they close at 10p, and was turned away at the door with them saying it was a "last call for food" so we couldn't come in. We ended up going to eat at the Hangout and the food and service was great!!!!! Decided to go back on 8-12-25 (Tue) for lunch around 2p. It was not crowded and we were able to get in at a table and place our order immediately. It took a little longer than usual to receive our food (we eat here often every time we come to GS) and once we got our food NOBODY EVER came back to check on us the entire time we were there. Again, they were not busy at all! The staff just sat around and not once went to any table to see if anybody needing anything. I eventually had to ask for my check because we had been sitting there just waiting. Our first stop after leaving was to get a drink because we never got a refill while eating there. I'm not sure if it's under new management or what, but, it was absolutely horrible and definitely not worth the money that was paid!
Hello. I recently left a review that was suspiciously taken down. I wanted to let whoever it may concern know that the treatment I received at this establishment was very concerning. I realize that this is a popular tourist establishment and you may or may not care about if we ever come back. But you should be aware that one of your employees well, I’m assuming he’s an employee. Has an either problem talking to humans nicely or he was having a bad day. Either which are not ok when working. Our meal was fine our waitress was great. But once I asked about T-shirts I was told to go to bartender or by bar area. (I did so) when I approached a bartender to ask a question about the T-shirts. He opened a fridge door right in my face as I was speaking. Then closed it and I re -asked my question and he in a not so nice tone said I will get with you in one second!!! It was all about the tone and the door in my face for me. I immediately walked off. We were going to purchase T-shirts for family. Maybe a dozen. It clearly didn’t happen. I wanted to let whoever be aware of this situation. It wasn’t ok. And frankly we won’t be back. I hope this message is taken serious.
I’m not the type to leave reviews and complain but Honestly if I could give zero stars I would, we put our name on the wait list, we were told 45 mins and not told what time the kitchen closed, we stayed within sight the whole 45 mins…. Never got a text so we came in to check and were told she forgot about us, and that the kitchen was closed so we waited the whole time to eat just for everything to be closed at that point. Horrid communication. Horrible customer service, the host gave us attitude for HER mistake . We planned this trip 6 months in advance and had been so excited to visit the pink pony pub for month and our experience was ruined due to horrid customer service and we will not be attempting again. Highly suggest the “hangout” they heard how upset we were after the pink pony pub and accommodated us.
The server was rude, no personality. My pina colada was awful. The only thing good was the french fries. what a waste of money.
4/6/25 Sunday afternoon around 230pm after being at the beach and we were visiting from Ohio saw a TikTok and heard it was a good place to check out so we paid for parking and decided to go check out pink pony pub all excited, looked so cute. My husband and I and our 5 year old son went to sit outside when we first walked in to be seated the hostess was rude and made it seem like a big deal to sit outside and there were 3 tables available outside at the time went out walked around came back in looked around then took us out to be seated. We sat down with menus and not one waitress or the girl refilling drinks came to our table for 25 minutes and not one waitress would make eye contact with us. I took our menus and put them back inside and hostess watched me and we walked out never once said anything and we planned to try some drinks and appetizers, very disappointed looked like a fun place, definitely won’t be back…. We left and walked to the hangout and were treated way better!
We arrived at 8:30. They close at 10:00. We waited by the sign that said “seating available. Wait here” for about 10 mins. Unfortunately, there isn’t a good spot to wait that isn’t in the middle of a walkway. When someone finally asked if we (and the others around us) were waiting for a table, we were told they were no longer taking parties. We didn’t even want food- just a few mins to have a drink without the kids. What a letdown.
Fun atmosphere and beautiful location. But food is not good. The sourdough burger looks like a smashed grilled cheese and tasted dry. Fish Poboy just plain and salty. Just go for cold beer and view
Right on the beach, great service, yummy food, nice view, and cold beer. We had the gumbo - yummy and the chicken nachos - huge and delicious!

$25 to attempt a vegetarian meal, $10 fried green tomatoes plus $15 po-boy with no meat. They wouldn't just sub the meat for the fried green tomatoes on the sandwich. Gator bite appetizer for my daughter $18.50. Pina Colada had no flavor at all. $148 for 2 people. 3 mixed drinks. Water, 1 app. 2 sandwiches. Fun location, but WAY too expensive!
