$25 to attempt a vegetarian meal, $10 fried green tomatoes plus $15 po-boy with no meat. They wouldn't just sub the meat for the fried green tomatoes on the sandwich. Gator bite appetizer for my daughter $18.50. Pina Colada had no flavor at all. $148 for 2 people. 3 mixed drinks. Water, 1 app. 2 sandwiches. Fun location, but WAY too expensive!
I had to visit this place when I saw the name. Such a cute building and the outdoor seating has a gorgeous view with beach access. The food was delicious, but we paid $20 for 2 cocktails that didn't taste like they had any alcohol in them at all. Also service was very slow. The host sat us quickly, but we waited for quite awhile just to get our drink orders taken. It was a bit busy, but I saw other servers check on their tables/sections 2-3 times before our actual waitress...
We sat outside so there are no pics of food since it was pretty dark outback and the lighting was pretty beach moody. The view is amazing as it’s right on the gulf and view is gorgeous. It’s a dive with a great view. I got the chargrilled oysters and to my surprise there was no cheese and it wasn’t served either bread!!! I am NOT in Louisiana anymore, I see. There was a bit of a standoff between my table and the server over this bread because we were like wtf just send out...
