Dropped by for dinner and had the blackened shrimp skewer with black beans and shoe string fries. Great food, prompt service and very courteous staff! One of Gulf Shores hidden gems.

We were here in late Oct and early November, when there aren't many people in Gulf Shores. Stopped by four times, twice for dinner and twice for drinks. Service was always good and fast. They have great food and drink specials, with some available all day, every day. Very reasonable prices. See photo of specials menu. Ate here on Taco Tuesday, $2.5 tacos (had 2 each), $5 margarita, $5 chips and salsa, $25 total for the two of us. Also came on Friday steak night, $13 each for dinner, and the $6 old fashioned (made with Elijah Craig, not some cheap stuff). I can also recommend two of their frozen drinks, bushwacker and ultimate painkiller, both very good. Overall, we found this to be good food at reasonable prices, and very close to our rental house. Many of the other restaurants we visited were twice the cost. I'm not sure why there are several negative reviews. Perhaps they were here on a busy Saturday night, but we had all good experiences. Come try this place!

Two dollar Tacos Thursday. Service was awful. Server started great when placing our order. Then we waited for almost and hour and he finally came back and said a large party had backed them up in the kitchen. Not true they were eating when we set down. Other customers came after us were seated, ordered food, food came and they eat and left. We still had never received our food. After an hour it finally came out and was cold. Our time in the restaurant was one hour and 45 minutes. We having been coming to Gulf Shores for 10 year and always go to this restaurant. Not again!!

Seven of us from out of state chose this restaurant because we had dined there this time last year and had a wonderful experience. I have no idea if last night’s experience was an anomaly or if the staff and quality has drastically changed overall. We placed our drink orders first and received them fairly quickly. We sat for over an hour waiting to place orders for food. Several tables were seated, ordered and served before we placed our order. We finally contacted an assistant manager, who spoke with our server (who was a novice, but was receiving no help or direction from experienced servers or the management) and she finally took our orders. We waited over ANOTHER HOUR for our food. We called the assistant manager over to our table who let us know they were having “kitchen issues” and apologized for our wait and said she would take 10% off each of our checks for the inconvenience. When we finally received our food, what was supposed to be served hot was cold, as if it had been sitting for quite a while. The quality was NOT what it was last year. Because we were kind with our disappointment in service and quality, she took another 5% off each check. Needless to say, we will not return. That’s really sad, because it’s very conveniently located to our beach house. Bye, bye Beach House Kitchen and Cocktails. It was nice while it lasted. We honestly hope you are able to recover the quality staff and food you once had.

Cute little spot. We were sat right away and the entire staff was super friendly and personable. The prices were very reasonable and the food ranged from okay to good (nothing amazing) but the wait time was AWFUL. Our waitress was attentive but the kitchen took forever.

After the crowds are gone this kinda becomes a local hangout. Waitstaff is fun and friendly. Food is good and drinks are good. Daily food specials.

Food was good. Service good. I had grouper sandwich and quite satisfied. Ate lunch time not too busy. Has outdoor seating but was hot.

We overheard people talking about this restaurant and decided to give it a try. We were all disappointed. The service was slow, they mixed up orders bringing the wrong items for two out of our four meals, and the fish one of us ordered was swapped out with whatever they had available with no indication. If you do eat here, the po' boys were ok.

Don’t waste your money or time. 2-hour wait, inside was steaming at 81 degrees, service was terrible on top of all that, use to be a solid spot…not any more.

Don't waste your money and time - this place is UNETHICAL and misleads its customers about the menu options. We ordered the Gulf Fish & Shrimp plate and we specifically asked the server about the fish for that entree. He said it is Grouper, so that's what we exactly wanted and we ordered 2 of them (my wife and I). To our complete shock, we were absolutely stunned when the food came out and more than apparently it tasted so nasty and fishy and the fillets were so thin, I knew that's NOT a grouper. The first couple of bites and I had to spitted out...My wife left her entire plated since it was so inedible and salty. I told the server and he looked at me "so confused" that he later confessed that the kitchen didn't have grouper so they put Flounder...I know that wasn't even a flounder but a cheap Tillapia since it tasted so terrible. My daughter's shrimp skewer was tasteless too and the Coconut shrimp didn't taste more than a rubber. We will NEVER, EVER be back here and please don't spend your hard worked money and waste your time at this unethical place. Food is Horrible and they will simply server whatever they have on hand - like a cheap Tilapia or "flounder", but they will tell you that's Snapper or Grouper. You simply can't do this to your customers, they will never be back and will spread the word to 100 other people. Worst restaurant in Gulf Shores for sure.

Good prices but terrible drinks and food. We went early for happy hour. Specialty drinks very small, all ice ..tasted like beach water. Fish tacos were cold, mushy and zero flavor. Appetizer spring rolls were good but stated you got 4 but we're very obviously 2 cutin half.

They have all appetizers for $5, small plate portions. We tried 4 and all were delicious, coconut shrimp, Bs on wrapped shrimp, spinach and artichoke dip, and spring rolls. Drinks are only a dollar off, but they were very good. Margarita, watermelon vodka cocktail, bushwhacker all delicious. Fish taco meal was very good. Friendly servers, outdoor and indoor seating.

My wife and I happened upon this place while exploring, and decided to try it. Our server, Amanda, was amazing - super attentive, made great recommendations, and was just a really nice person. The food was awesome - all their spice combos, dressings, etc., are made in house, and the attentiveness shows. I loved their blackened fish/shrimp. Crawfish max & cheese is also out of this world. I wish we hadn’t discovered this place so late in our trip, but we’ll definitely be back.

Really liked the drinks, the food was good as well but the prices seemed a little high. I got shrimp tacos, ended up with 2 for $15 and about 4 shrimp per taco. They were very good, but skimped on the quantity and price was high. Bacon wrapped shrimp were also good as an appetizer but didn't get many for the price again.
