Sassy Bass Island Grill

Great food and service! We tried multiple things and they did not disappoint. The drinks were great. The missing Tvs and entertainment could have helped the atmosphere but the music selection was good. Excellent view of the ocean!

Always a good time here. Everything is amazing and my personal favorite is the spiral fries. Very friendly waiters and waitresses. Just overall fun place to eat and they take good care of us everytime.

Alex and his Lady showed us grace with the weather between the time we stayed and the moments that meant the most to us. the view from here with family made this our next stay. i’ll brag about this place until we come back again. top notch and above expectations. thank you Alex

We stayed within the resort and let me say Just drive the 20 minutes to a decent-good restaurant. Food is overpriced and hardly edible. Convenient for a quick drink or 2 but as far as a lunch/dinner? Terrible.. take the drive

The food was not good and over cooked. When we left we smelled like we had been frying food ourselves.

Our food was delicious, outdoor seating was nice, staff was very friendly and quick with service! Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would visit again on vacation.

We’re staying nearby and we went for dinner. I was a little worried when we got there around 630pm because it was so busy! But we were seated immediately at the bar and our bartender/waiter Alex came and got our drink order almost immediately. Alex continued to check on us regularly and update us on the status of our food. The food was great!! Awesome burger and I really like the fries that came with it. When we were done Alex asked us how everything was and even gave us some recommendations on other places to try some we aren’t from here. Would go again!

Great food and service! Also, one of the best Bloody Mary's I've ever had! Plenty of options for kids as well. I recommend going for a late lunch/ early dinner as there was no wait time and food was quick to the table.

Our bar tender was amazing. Dusty rocked!!!!! Coconut margs are my favorite.

COMPLETELY IGNORED! I went twice (two nights in a row) thinking the first time was just a small crew and busy. But NOT ONE server talked to us and completely ignored us, two nights in a row. The female servers were rude and did not care how long we stood waiting to be greeted/seated. I very rarely leave bad reviews but this was by far the worst in a long time! Do Better!

We had a great meal tonight shrimp and grits was amazing along with the fried shrimp.

Bonus the kids meal is served with a Sassy Bass frisbee!!

Alisha was an amazing server and was very attentive to our TV needs!!

We truly enjoy our time at the restaurant each time we came! We came on one of the busiest nights of the week and saw how amazing this place can get, but the staff was OUTSTANDING!! Each time we had Destiny and she truly went out of her way even in the busiest of times to make us feel seen and comfortable! The other server that night was equally amazing with how personable each of them were with their customers. Can't wait to come back and see them again!
OH! And the views were out of this world!

5 stars for Destiny and the Sassy Bass folks at the Gulf Shores Plantation!! We felt like we were at home every time we stopped by during our honeymoon stay this weekend and Destiny was a lot of fun and took great care of us both times she served us. The food was also great, burgers were awesome and so were the twisty cheese fries!
