Food was ok, golf was OK. Everything was just OK. Nothing to write home to mom about, but ok destination if you're looking for dinner and entertainment for the kids.

Mini golf was not all that involved, but a fun way to spend half an hour. It was $10 per adult for mini gulf. The food was decently priced, great portion sizes, but minimal flavor. I ordered the chicken bacon ranch fries and they tasted like nothing other than ranch, even with fried chicken on it, there was no flavor. My husband ordered the fried shrimp platter, and there was very little flavor.

I would love to give it a five star review. And if I were to just rate it on my experience there a week ago I would definitely give it a five star plus review. But after tonight I can't do that. The woman working there did not ask us once if we would like another drink....we were sitting at the bar. She was prepping food and texting on the phone while doing so. She was also cutting up onions on a dirty cutting board where she just cut up some chicken. She would text on her phone while wearing gloves then go back to touching food with the same gloves on. Last week the woman working there was amazing. She ran that bar and cooking area like a pro. She made our food and it was fabulous as were our drinks.

Great place to eat. Prices reasonable and service good. The shrimp has a nice light breading. The chili cheese fries are great. I like their hush puppies. You can spend more and nor have as good a meal around here. Was recommended by some of the locals.

Our first time to Shrimpy's was during shrimpfest, so parking and traffic was a mess, but we were lucky to find one parking spot available. Every business was more interested in selling $20 parking spots than having a spot for customers, but I digress.Having tried most of the mini golf places in town, the fam wanted to try lunch and mini golf at Shrimpy's. We arrived a little after 1pm and ordered lunch first. The place wasn't very busy, what with most of the parking used for shrimp fest.We ordered 3 flatbreads, one bacon cheeseburger, and 2 corn dogs. The food was fine. The problem was that it took 50 minutes to get our food! I don't know what the problem was, but that wasn't cool.We enjoyed the minigolf. It was $55 for the 5 of us, 2 adults, and 3 kids. The course was kept clean despite the recent rains, and the cups played well.If we had gotten our food in a decent amount of time would have been 5 stars.

The food here was great, service was quick, we found this to be a hidden gem and will return when we are in town again.
