They usually have great food, but today was a disappointment. I ordered the Scotch Egg because they prepare it with a soft boiled egg and serve it on the best slaw on the planet. Today, the egg was nearly hard boiled, definitely not soft. That's one star for menu fulfillment. I showed the bartender and he said "Sorry. I will let the kitchen know." No adjustment to the check. I was charged full price for an item that didn't meet their menu. That's one star...
From the moment we walked into Galloway Irish Pub, we felt like honored guests, thanks in large part to Dean, our exceptional waiter. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the menu, Dean made our evening feel like a celebration. He knew just when to check in, offered great recommendations, and brought a personal touch that elevated the entire experience.

The fish and chips were everything you hope for in a classic pub dish; golden, crispy batter...
Ugggh…..this place was so good last year we just had to go back!! Maybe it was a bad day, maybe because it was Monday. The egg in the Scotch Egg was cold. The fish in our Fish and Chips was soggy/greasy, not nice and crispy.
The service was great, the Guiness pour was perfect and the chips were great.
Hopefully it was just a new person in the kitchen or something.
